FYI Robotic Testing and "CORKED" Shafts

I have no clue where that came from.

Don't you think a robot would be motorized or automated ? Not manually set up and has a release?

Got any pics of those shafts ?

Joey this is retarded. Are you really going to say that? Meucci calls theirs a robot. Predator calls theirs a robot. You spent to much time watching Star Wars. Like I said, call it what you want. It is a great machine and has made a lot of break through. If you drive your *ss up here to see it in person, you will love it to.

Ya! here they are. My new shooter also.

Thanks.,
The camera is out of focus.
But, they look like the usual AAA grade white shafts.
They're not worth more than Timeless Timber dowels imo.
Or golden brown tight shafts.

But, to each his own.

P.T.Barnum was right, there's a sucker born every minute. Now if only those suckers are pool players and have $600 for a shaft you'll be all set.

I'm probably going to stick to plain maple.

I think the key word here is pool players and not a beginner. If a pool player has one of my cues go ahead and play him and we will see who the sucker is. Matter of fact, bet $600 and Ill set the game up. You can play a real pool player that uses my cue for $600. Not only will we see who the sucker is but we will also see how a pool player wins a free $600 shaft.

I have not won any world championships. If you think the worlds best cue is all you need to win world titles your retarded.

exactly as retarded as saying changing cues will make you play better.

you are the one making the bullshit claims:rolleyes::rolleyes:

hmmm robotic testing is the latest greatest technology... that's what predator said 20 years ago... and what Meucci said 20 years before that.

you reinvented the wheel and tripled the price:rolleyes::rolleyes:

then insulted me for calling you on it ...

I got some wheatbucks to spend... is that you Eddie??

Ya I am not the best photographer. I had to get the camera close to try and get a grain shot. What makes them worth the money is what I do to them. The countless hours of trial and error of cutting a shaft and testing it in the robot just to through it away and start all over. A lot of wasted wood and a ton of time have been devoted to get the shafts to come in the specs that they do. But it was all worth it because now I don't waste wood and my shafts are performing in a world of their own. Again I don't mean to come off arrogant or to bash any one. There are a lot of great cue builders out there putting out some great cues. My favorite that I look up to is Ernie Gueterrez. Sorry Ernie for spelling you name wrong. Ginacues are amazing. What is more amazing than the cue is Ernie made the machines that made the cues. And today no one that I am aware of has any thing like them.

Wow so what your saying is that two of the biggest cue makers have said robotic testing is the latest greatest technology for 40 years and you think I am full of shit? Sounds like I have 40 years of truth and back up. What do you have "WheatBucks"? Or should I call you Eddie? By the way, my shafts are way different than both of them so I assure you, I did reinvent the wheel and it is now a supper magic wheel. Bring what ever you have and bet something. Or are you just another full of shit, can't back any thing up, want to look important in front of your friends here on AZ?

Hey Fella, I don't know who the hell you are and quite frankly don't give a damn. You have insulted my friends on this forum. Also, if you don't know who Mr. Paul Dayton I'd advise that you'd better use a life line, ask the audience or phone a friend if you have any. Trust me when I say you are barking up the wrong tree. He will straight jack your asse in all areas.

Hey Fella, If you don't know who Mr. Paul Dayton I'd advise that you'd better ask someone. He makes some of the best hitting cues and SHAFTS in the world. Trust me when I say you are barking up the wrong tree. He will straight jack your asse on the pool table or on the cue lathe.

Not sure who he is. If he was as great as you think he is I would know who he is. But I will give you and him the benefit of the doubt. He may make some really nice cues. Now as for the other I can certainly hold my own on the lathe. And I will give any cue builder in the world the 7 out when it comes to refinishing a cue. So bring your money and bet it!!! You may want to research my background a little and you just might find a new hero. As for the pool table you may be right. I am far from the best but that doen't mean I can't play a little.

Your looking at a piss poor video at best.

If you are proud of the machine you built, you shouldn't have posted that particular video because thats pretty much what it is, piss poor.
And at that, a bad advertisement for what you're trying to achieve.

I cant remember the last time I saw it contact the cloth.

2:25 on that vid. The cue gets driven into the table and you can see the shaft flex and I mean seriously flex.

This guy is sitting there just waiting to post replys. I posted and seconds later I made a short edit and he all ready replied three times within about 1 1/2 minutes.

First I did not build the machine that I am truly proud of. And let me just add that every one, and I mean every one that has seen it in person feels the same way I do.
You may have a point about bad advertisement for what I am trying to achieve. But even at that their is a lot of people that commented that they liked it. Now I didn't go spend a lot on this video so you could see it, but at least I am trying to make a difference and a break through for this wonderful sport. What exactly have you done for this sport besides shit on those who are trying to make a difference?

By the way, I don't use or own a cue lathe. I use real machines.

i aint getting into this robotic thing. i am just curious bout something.

you said you dont use a lathe , you use a real machine. is a lathe not a real machine ? is it an imaginary machine machine or something ?

I can assure you, Mr Dayton lines up his rings much better than you do John.
ww5-2.jpg

No nasty glue lines either. He doesn't use 5-minute epoxy on them like you do.
Then cut them minutes later.

I bet, he's never heard of you until now.
Sorry, but sometimes humble pies are deserved.

Here comes some red assehole...

The red nation is about to rise!!!

:angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry::angry:

Didn't mean it the way it sounds. I didn't mean to come across that cue lathes suck. They are great for what they do. It takes a lot of work to convert engine or metal lathes for cue building. Lathes built for this purpose make it a lot easier. I am not and repeat not shitting on anyone or any cue builder that has one. If you know what you are doing or are some what of a craftsman, you can make a nice cue with nothing but hand tools. It will take a long time but it can be done.

This cue looks very nice. He definitely know how to make a pretty cue. I don't know how it plays or tests but it is definitely a pretty cue. I also have some pretty cues with out glue lines. Look at the pics in my gallery.

Also much easier to line up 1 window ring instead of 3. Even though the cue looks beautiful I would have liked better if it had some trim rings around the window ring.
