~~!~~ My new Ernie Martinez cue ~~!~~

I'm really starting to like the looks of recuts on certain cues! The design of this cue is phenomenal! I can see what you're referring to with regards to the silver dots. I think it's the subtle intricacies to the design that I'm thoroughly impressed with on this cue!

This cue is amazing in person. The silver/ivory work is hard to pick up in the pix, but I have seen it in the sunlight. Near perfection.

Not too many cuemakers can achieve this sort of delicate detail. Love it!

That is a peach. Ernie Martinez puts a cool twist on traditional inlay...his stuff has juice. Enjoy.

I am a Martinez player. That is a great cue. I am a wrapless cue fan so i love it. I have a fancy one in the works from him now, but I will not see it for a long time cause I am in Japan and cue will have a lot of ivory. So it will sit at my parents house for a long time. So sad. Lol

Nice Cue best of luck with it,,

Today Skierlawyer and I played a game of straight pool. He was using this Martinez cue. I got to hit a few ball with it and it hits like all other Martinez cues-great.I gave it a quick look and then we started playing. He went to the bathroom and left the cue on the table. So I slowly rolled it in the light and with each roll I saw more and more tiny detail. I probably rolled it 20 times before I saw all the fine detail in this cue. This cue at first glance seems a bit simple. But when you start to look closely at the small inlays and points you come to realize just how complicated this cue is.
Really it is a subtle work of art.
And there I was playing with my mighty Lucasi :(:(

That's nice.
Last time you went to the bathroom and left your Lucasi, I tried to sell it...:grin-devilish:

Fine-sell it if you want. But then I get to replace it with any cue in your collection- Can you say James White boys and girls.
His cue really is a knock out Ted.
It takes me so long to take a leak at my age you could sell Manhattan.

Thanks so much! For the record, Measureman let me hit with his mighty Lucasi and I gotta be honest here, it plays as good as anything. I hope we can play again, its a pleasure playing a knowledgeable straight pool aficionado. Just remember to stay away from me on the highway ;)

better pics.......
