Great Slates has a huge bar and the food is/was top notch as well. I can't speak for it currently, as it has been about 4 years since I was there. I remember a prime rib sub that was to die for.

Legal age for alcohol in MD is 21.

There was also an off track betting room next door, if it is still open you can spend some free time betting on the pony's.

They do serve food and alchol, but this is a family place and you do not have to be a certain age to come in. My son is a youngster and he plays in the in house league. Very nice atmosphere. With great playing tables.
