I need a suggestion in selling a Black Boar cue. A buddy of mine is sick. His brother brought me his cue to sell. I don't know enough about "Black Boars" to even begin to estimate it's value. It is an older one with points, veneers, little ivory and 3 shafts (all playable). Any suggestions??? I will try to get a picture of it posted.

Here are the pics:

Sorry to hear about your buddy being sick.

Contact Kevin Brewer (Kvinbrwr here on AZ). Kevin sells several high-end cues on ebay and enjoys a spotless reputation as a fair seller. I believe between Kevin's knowledge of cues and trusted reputation, he could get you fair market value for your cue rather quickly.

Hope this helps.

Kevin's a good guy to talk to, as well as many others. Kevin is on an Alaskan cruise I believe, not sure when he returns.

Try Bill Grassley at Cornerstone - great guy to deal with.

Your in the $1700 and over market, no higher then $2200 depending the diameters and straightness of the shafts. Also be cautious, they may not all be original shafts. These are retail 2nd market numbers. Super deal to buy... I would offer $ 1500 with a feel that one shaft is original and it's in super condition.

Just trying to help ya.

soft market, 1500-2000 estimate depending on straightness and overall condition.2 cents

I would say you were "spot on". Pristine condition with two straight original shafts in the 12.80 mm or better...$2K. Anything less...adjust accordingly. GLWS...

My suggestions...take this offer and don't deal on ebay. A deal here would net your friend a lot more cash than selling on ebay.

I would offer that the advice here is pretty close on the money.

The old logo BB IMO are tough movers, verses the new logo cues.
