i agree about the aramith tournaments. the duramith material really is an improvement, the balls stay clean and polished much longer. great stuff!

Centennials

Centennials are now commisioned to aramith and made in the same factory, to the same standards and spec's as the aramith super pro's. But I think they look better and I also use them for some aiming practice drills.

Raschigs,,,,!!

There is a very rare set on Ebay now,,,,,

Great seller, I bought a mint 9 ball set from him about one year ago,,,,

Like ''Freddy The Beard'' would say..''You can thank me later''.......

Aramith Tournament. I have a set of Centennials, Super Pro and Tournament and the Tournaments play the best, in my opinion.

Best Pool Balls

Most people who are lucky enough to have played with the top of the line billiard balls have their personal favorites. I like Aramith Super Pros and new Centennials.

However, between those two, I prefer Centennials. Their design scheme provides more aiming and reference points. Super Pros have the number in the stripes, thus there are two large "blank" expanses on each striped ball. The Centennials have the striped ball numbers placed in the center of the white field, thus eliminating the blank expanse. Also, Centennials have the bold black ring around all the numbers. Even better, each ring has the two dart points.

Regardless of what system you aim with, there are more reference points on Centennials.

Foolishly, I let my only set of Centennials go with a Brunswick table I sold last year. :o

It depends on who you ask, I would say Duramith. My wife on the other hand, well, lets just say she has a biased opinion.

I guess the big three are:

Aramith Super Pro's

Centennials

Aramith Tournament

Obviously, I need all three sets...LOL!!!

If I had to choose only one set...I'd have to choose the one that is used in the majority of tournament play...

Which one is mostly used in tournament play...or is that mostly regional...and everywhere is different...???

(I really like the thought of the centennials in reference to the "more aiming points" perspective)...but I guess, I'd prefer to use the same equipment as the tournaments...!!!

Anyhow, More thoughts, Please!!!
and Thanks for all of the input!

I just bought a set of the Super Pros because I like to practice with what I have to play with. I also have a red circle cue ball and a measles cue ball because I have to play with them too when I play in tournaments. Most, if not all, the places I play have Super Pros or balls that look like them.

You see super pros alot. You cannot go wrong with any premium set Buy them new they will last you a long time. Have a cheap set on your table for the bangers

Another item that is super tp have is a ball cleaner. Make one or buy one use it daily i love my ball star
