I'm in Asia and i've never brought a cue into the states or vice versa. I know how an*l TSA gets and from what i gather Pool Cues needs to be checked in. What about for E.U, Australia...just trying to understand the regulations better.
For example in China, I hand carry all my cues from either a 1x2 to a 4x8 case. No problem at all, just chuck them in the overhead compartment. They're real strict with LAG ruling (Liquid, Aerosol and Gel) and Batteries, but they never have any problem with cues.
I do the same for Singapore and and never had any problems either, so when i travel between Singapore and China i always hand carry my cues. That's the only reason why i'd even bring my cues between the 2 countries cos i'm allowed to hand carry...if i had to check in i'll be buying a cheap sneaky..
Curious how it's like for the rest of the world?
