The 10' Diamond tables are legit! They are beautiful, tight as hell, and in my opinion are great for professional pool. Got to see some safety battles that may not have happened on a 9'. These tables with the 3 foul rule in effect and no jump cues is exactly what we need

There was action 24/7 from 10 days ago when I got there till I got home this evening.

Billy Incardona is an absolute monster still to this day! It was a joy to watch him play and it's amazing how much focus and energy he plays with at his age. He moves like a ninja! If you don't believe me, jump up there.

Landon Shuffett is the truth! He pures balls in from everywhere and plays jam up safes to boot. It won't be too long before he is on team USA and competing for majors as well!

I got lucky and had excellent seats to the 10 ball finals and Johhny and Alex put on a great show. The cue ball was sliding on them a bit under those lights but it was one hell of a match. There is one rack towards the end where Alex has the 7 and 10 froze and no pocket for them. The out he makes in that rack was NOTHING short of world class! They are both class acts and I wish them both congratulations...

Jeremy Marcello may not have slept 20 hours in 10 days. He did a fantastic job trying to keep all those amateur events rolling and i promise you it couldn't have been easy. Good job bro

Oh and that Justin Hall don't play too bad either. lol

I was there Tue-Sat and had a great time. Saw Alex and JA play. Alex seems to avoid the crutch and just hangs out two feet of shaft in front of his bridge hand. He also doesn't use an extension on his cue. JA has his height and his pink extension. Cheap hotels ten minutes away $49+ tax, crap tables and $15 admission all day. Cold beer and pretty girls! Results for nine ball needs to be addressed. Not fan friendly. My friend Spanky played Cliff Joyner and they could not tell me the winner way after match was over! I understand the buy back causes issues but couldn't they post results by hand on a board. Had lunch with Buddy Hall and Herman the German. Buddy played in one of the events. Very well run event. I shall return!

Sorry bro, Some of the players are getting upset when that is posted online. Especially after what happened to Amanda (Henny's ole lady)

There is probably still action going on. i saw plenty of big sets.

We had our share as well. We found a awesome buffet at Fritsgeralds and 3 dollar craps.

29 racks played by JA and Alex in the final with ZERO break and runs. Yes, the ten footer is exactly what the game needs. This is the best new old thing to come along in decades.

This is interesting because I remember before the 10ft Diamonds were completed there was much conjecture on AZ about the effect playing on them would have.

I watched 3 of the 10 ball 10ft matches and enjoyed them all.

Hopefully this is a new beginning and not just a footnote.

I'd like to see the U.S. Open 9, 10 Ball, One Pocket and the Dragon 14.1 on 10fters

All in all a great week! Humidity was hard to deal with and the only complaint I had about the entire thing was the temperature in the Event Center. If it had been consistent, great, but one day, it's cold, next day it's hot and humid... tables played different every time you went to them, but still, really great equipment and I enjoyed both playing and watching.

Highlight for me, was, same as for many, the 10 ball on the 10 footers. Especially the final. Hill/Hill under the lights and no empty seats, people standing outside the seating area craning their necks to see it. Great match that, IMHO, couldn't have been better if you had scripted it.

Also, Yep, I've had all the Fudruckers and Quiznos I will EVER need... of course, we'll probably ALL end up eating there again next year, but not right now. I passed a Quizno's on the way home and my stomach kind of turned. McDonalds actually tasted good after 8 days of the same food over and over. Don't get me wrong. I generally like Quizno's, but after the first three or four days, everything I got tasted like the last thing I had.

Tunica has the potentials to have more actions than any other tournaments in the world. I already like it better than the old Executive West.

I personally saw tons of big actions for the entire 10 days there, both by the games and long races. I am talking about 4 figures per game and good size 5 figures races. Known hustlers, whales, women, young men, world class players, short stops were all there gambling.

Mini-tournaments were ran through out days and nights. Anything from $20 up to $500 minis were available.

Rooms are very affordable. You can stay on site at Harrahs for only $59 per night (with a roommate, that would make it around $30 each). If you have a car, you can stay at a different casino a couple of miles down the road for only $29-$39 per night. Harrahs offers plenty of food choices with very reasonable prices. Plus all players get an additional 10% off. With a car, you can get to several other dining places in a short drive.

There's a big "Kid's Games" palace. you can defintely take your family there for a vacation. The golf course is literally right next to the hotel, if you want to take a break in the day time and play some golf.

I played for half an hour on the 10-foot tables and personally like them very much. However, I don't think it will make any differences to the top tier pros (versus the 9-footers that is). The creams of the crop still rises to the top, just like if they were to play on a 9-footer Diamond table. At that level of competition, you better bring it, otherwise, you will lose. Anyone is capable of beating anyone, whether it be 10-foot or 9-foot tables.

I am already looking forwards to next year.
