cue on the Bay

ebay cue

No idea what it is, but the rings on the shaft don't look like they match the butt. Good luck. Butt looks pretty good, but don't like the 5/16 18 pin.

cue guess

Well it kinda has that szamboti look to it but the points really go close to the joint collar,he did make blanks for some other folks who knows. They are bidding on though lol, somebody knows what it is. I am just taking a guess at, but i would like to know also just because.

If it were a 5/16x14 pin, it has the looks of an early

Stroud, Janes period cue, Like a JOSS or JW, but if it is 5/16x18, this could be a import, or an early Adams cue.

this is my best guess with removal and inspection of weight block and more close-ups of joint pin, shaft collar, and such.

Good luck

mike

That cue was listed here on the forum by a member, I can't recall which thread but it was recently.

Points are probably too long and colors may not be right, but looks a bit like an old Titliest Conversion.

Seems like there is a thread in the main forum, but I don't trust my memory these days. I don't trust farts anymore either. Anyway.......

its a palmer pb-6.. its been discussed in the cue gallery section in a big thread..

its believed that the it was rejoined thus loosing alittle in the forearm thats why the points are so close.. if you look at the closeups the shaft is clearly longer by about the length of the pin..

For the record, it was already identified in the gallery anyway. But I have to point out that this cue is NOTHING like any of the cues mentioned in the above post at all.
