Your wasting your talent

Ever thought of jumping Off the Clevage/Bootie bandwagon and give us the great action shot pics of say, some the prior yrs posters that were very successful and require NO modeling and demeaning pics of women in provacatve positions? Comparatively, dogs playing pool poster has sold copy for YEARS and will never go out of style. Having raised two daughters, I find this calendar exactly Not what I'd want around my life. Your going to put allot of time, money and effort into this project, the industry your in is long standing, why not use some creativity, other than SEX and give us some long standing quality pics of the game and not your blingy women??????????????

Why drive yourself crazy worrying about how someone chooses to earn their money? If this is something that you do not want around your life, then simply don't buy it or look at it. The women/models that posed for these pictures obviously didn't feel it was demeaning or they wouldn't have posed.

I raised a daughter as well, and modeling would not be my ideal job for her, but ultimately it's not my position to tell her what she should do for employment. I can suggest and give advice, but I can't tell her that she cannot do something. That is her decision.

You say that he's going to put a lot of time, money and effort into this project, and that is true, but why shouldn't he try to make a bit of a profit too? Let's face it, sex sells! Do you think a calendar with dogs playing pool is going to outsell a calendar with beautiful women? I'll just guess that it won't. These two women are dressed very classy if you ask me.

It's simple just live and let live and leave the preaching to those that do it for a living.

Chris is a friend of mine, and YES he will and has put hard work into this.

Many of the ladies in this Calendar are friends of mine and VERY classy women. If they choose to pose for a classy calendar, GOOD for them.

If you don't want to buy one don't. But don't knock a guy for making it and potentially hurt his business.
 
I think I can help you with that calendar for women thing. If these guys give me the go ahead, they'll be the first batch of models. What do you think?

Who said I'm driving myself crazy, I'm not, I just have morals and I think more our of sport than what this is saying to ???????????? the swingin' dicks.

I'm not telling them what to do, like yourself, I'm expressing my opinion. Do you think all the Bling etc out there has Any effect on our youth? I never said he shouldn't make any money, but I'd bet if they made twelve great billiard shots for ea mth, they could also turn them into posters and make money in perpetuity. The poster that Tony from Tiger tips made yrs ago of a women sitting on a pool table, it came and went, but great billiard shots are timeless. I never said a Calendar of Dogs playin' pool, I said a Poster, a singleton. We need to protect our kids in every way we can, and Not make women just become eye candy, whats the point? Classy, from who's point of view, all I see is great camera work and proper lighting, why not toss in man with a Speedo with a Large Nut bag hangin and swingin out there, I'm sure many would like that eh? (not me) It's gotta start somewhere, yeah sex sells, but great photography and a creative mind is Art, this is Not art. This is the easy way to make a buck at the expense of perpetuating other non poolplaying peoples perception of our great game, to me, its a cheap way to make a dollar, when their talents in making this could be utilized like David Thompson and Pat Fleming in producing something with Meaning.
 
We can see frumpy dudes, making silly faces, at the pool hall any time.

As usual, I think I waded through all of those other pictures just to get to the ones in your signature. Between that and a time/date stamp, who needs a calendar? :confused:

I see your point, I truly do, but in all seriousness aren't pool calendars going to target one particular audience?

It's not like they are going to be on the shelf next to Playboy's or Penthouse's. And yes, I do think those pictures are classy. Those women are wearing the same clothes that they may wear out to a nice dinner or party. They're not in bikinis, lingerie or underwear. I'm sure they're not wearing any (yay)!!

Really someone looking at these two pictures are not going to cover their kids' eyes. To protect them from what? Look out kids, these women are dressed!
 
3 pool tables where? I've studied these pictures for hours still can't see them...what were we talking about?

HAHAHA! Good one Sir!:) Shoelaces? I have an old pair of Kangaroo's!:eek: I tried to find pictures of Corey and Tommy, but in every picture they were totally blocked by their cue!

I only kept those guys out, because I wanted pictures of guys that remind me of me!! I look up to these guys because they are, as someone else put it, frumpy pool dudes, and boy can they stick!! Plus with these guys on a calendar, nobody can say I was using sex to sell it!!:grin:
