1930s cue ?? On the bay.

How do they know it's pre-war without knowing what it is? It was found at an estate sale, so what?
 
It very well may be 1930's.

The same seller had a really nice birdseye shrt cue that might have made a nice shaft or a blank for a forearm that I almost bought...but money is still tight and I couldn't.

It's an interesting cue.
 
Looks like a conversion (older one), that may have been done on a pre war brunswick, but who knows...... Conversion looks like it was done in the 60's-70's, imo.
 
Mr. Hoppe, about what decade did cue makers start putting the pin in the butt? I'm really interested in learning more about cues.
