A dear friend of mine is trying to sell his 1990 Phillippi cue (date in the forearm) due to financial trouble. He really doesnt want to let it go but he never plays with it so im posting it up here for him.
I emailed Rick with the some pics to get some info on the materials and value and this is what he said in his email...
HI JESSE, THE WOODS ARE BIRDSEYE AND EBONY THE INLAYS ARE IVORY. SILVER RINGS. IT WOULD RETAIL IN MY SHOP TODAY FOR ABOUT 4500.00
THANKS, RICK.
The butt of the cue is 15.5oz
Comes with one shaft at 4oz
leather wrap
bought in 1990 at the SBE
under a hundred hours of play
stored properly in the case so no nicks or damages
The owner barely used this cue and you can tell by the color of the ivory. The only problem is the material in the butt has shrunk a little bit. I was told that it can be fixed for 75-125 bucks. Other than that its almost brand new. Please PM with any offers. He is asking for 3500. Thank you for looking
Please mind the photos.. Im not the best photographer...
