Association for Billiards Professionals. Where are they NOW?

In one of the TAR podcasts that JA was on, they talked briefly about it. It was formed for the purpose of dealing with the late payment of the US open. I think they said it did its job, and it was now just fading away, intentionally. At least that's how I recall the podcast.... Its still on youtube if you guys are so inclined to hear it from the horses mouth.

I guess that no one told the guy to the right of Johhny, that chawing on gum at 100MPH doesn't look very professional for a start.

But I do love his hair. I think he does too.

The point of the "boycott" was to get paid.

No argument.

Apparently that is not so much in question this year. Perhaps it is, but there has been little of the saber rattling of last year. From either side.

that would be Steve Moore next to JA.....:D

I think the ABP did more harm than good.....
...they got a more reliable payout....from a man who always paid....
...albeit slowly sometimes.

In return they got no more entry and hotel for former winners.
Barry comes out ahead on the deal...and I don't begrudge him that.

How about a professional organization that says "How can we help make
things better?'
