HELP ID'!--Vintage Cue with unique Joint--

And If I found a Burton Spain, All Original 4 pointer-with

perfect veneers.

Then If I bought this from an estate sale for, $30.00, and then posted it on the site and asked questions, hundreds of Az'ers would be asking to buy it and of course if I offered it for, $100.00, then you would not buy it because it was 3 times more than I paid for it. WRONG!!! You would jump on it, buy it and tell everyone how they stole the cue and how dumb the seller was.

So, something is worth whatever someone is willing to pay and if they are selling, it is worth whatever the seller is willing to accept. End of story!

This cue is not original, it is a copy.

I spoke with some lawyer friends, and they told me that if this cue was to be sent anywhere in the mail, that the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) would active their highly trained Copyright Recovery and Prosecution (CRAP) team to arrest anyone who was involved in the shipping of this highly illegal item.

My best advice to you is to shove it up your ass for safe keeping.

AZer's seem to have a problem with guys that buy stuff on Ebay, and try to flip it for a profit on the forum.
I don't know why exactly, but it doesn't work here, and people feel insulted, especially when your prices are so out of line.
You are not the only one, but your attitude about AZ and they way you carry yourself, continually gets you in trouble here.
People have tried to help you, but you continue to do the oddest things, and blow off some really good people that have offered good advice.
This goes back to when you were trying to take the WFS over, which upset most of the membership, and people are still mad about that.
Now you have the DVD thing looming over your head, and you still don't get it, so it's not the end of the story.

I started to support you a little bit after you made some humorous comments, but you really have a bad attitude.
If the cue was a Burton Spain like your example, some people would be constructive, but there are always going to be the DVD guys, until you get that cleared up.
In that you obviously don't take advice from anyone, why ask for it on this crappy piece of junk cue?

Peace
Ted

Dear OP

You have zero eye for cues

You have zero class and no idea of how to conduct yourself here or how to do business here.

Other than that, great to see you posting here again but, like many, I'm befuddled about the DVDs.

The way I remember it, you promised to send them back and then reneged on that promise. Then you came up with a new promise to give them to someone else to return and then reneged on that promise also.

If you are a guy who is willing to constantly go back on his word how can you expect people to want to do business with you as a seller (presuming you would ever stumble across anything anybody would want to actually buy)?

Thanks

Kevin

Your new formula for success is amusing. You go to eBay and pick up a bargain you know nothing about. Then you go to AZ and ask the experts, most of whom have seen the POS and passed on it already, what your bargain is. All in the hopes that these guys will do for you what you can't and unearth the diamond in the rough. Then you can turn around and sell it at some inflated price back to those same guys who passed on it originally.

Add into that that most of us would rather buy from some unknown entity on eBay and take our chances rather than dealing with a known liar and non-performer like yourself.

Here's a lesson you maybe never learned but it might actually help you. People don't mind be helpful but they hate being taken advantage of.

All the best

Kevin

I'm really scared now
Those NPR guys are about as tough as my mini-Dachshunds

You have mini-Dachshunds? :rolleyes: :rotflmao1::rotflmao1::rotflmao1:

I think there is a rule that you lose one point on yer man card for each one of those that you have..... :D

That's some kind of warped line of thinking, but it certainly explains a lot.

It definitely isn't the end of the story at all, and the very notion that you have used that line to try to shut up other people on so many occasions is offensive to say the least. Many people here were very sympathetic and helpful, including myself. They gave you cash, merchandise, and bought your busted up "rare and collectible" cues and cases at two to three times their fair value purely out of kindness. That has changed.

And that, I think, may in fact be the actual end of the story.

You actually know little or nothing about cues, little or nothing about pool, and little or nothing about business. Certainly you know little or nothing about belonging to a community such as this. I myself am fairly new here, around a year, just like you, and I would never think to speak to the community here the way that you do. You once, when challenged in the cue makers forum, said "you don't even know who I am", insinuating that you had some sort of prominent past in cue making or the cue sports. I think the reality is that people have become quite acutely aware of who you are and they are not inclined to like what they have found.

Not very funny:angry:
Why do you think I'm spending more time at places like usualsuspects.net, talking about guns & knives.
I don't know crap about knives, but I'm trying to get back in the club.

I got twenty bucks on Kevin's cat against yer ruffest and tuffest mini-Daschund in a steel cage match set on top of a Gold Crown at the Derby.

My $$$ would be on the dog, those little f*ckers have a long mouth full of little razor teeth, they can do some serious damage.

How about this, if the match happens, you make a DVD, send it me, I will make copies, send you the copies for a cue, you keep the copies and the cue, then we can agrue about it on here. Deal?

I almost pissed myself when I read the last part I was laughing so hard. I want some of this too, I'll put 100.00 on the cat but if I get action with the Donkey he's gotta post.......I don't trust him :)

You might not want to make that bet.
The male, tough guy "Buddy", is only tough when he's on a leash.
He lunged at an English Mastiff and a coyote the other day.
He has never been in a fight, and there ain't a dog or cat in my complex that couldn't whoop his ass.
The coyote would of eaten him like a breakfast burrito.
