Make mine a GINA...

I think a GinaCue tribute would be in order...Gus is fine, too, but I think it's time for something a little different...maybe a take on a 14 series?

I realize making a tribute of a cue made by a living, active maker might be a little sticky...but that is one sexy cue!

Ebony titlist

Why not an ebony titlist with ivory joint, Hoppe ring and some bright veneer work. That would look nice.

Here's my entry for an old school tribute, nice idea Dean!

Palmers or 360

Dean, I don't know if you can get someone to put something together that's this fancy but what about these two Palmer cues?

The Legendary Palmer Kerry Kooken cue--The man who beat MN Fats!

Or how about a Palmer model M? Beautiful old school that you don't see anywhere else.

Finally if those won't work, then I'll just take a plain old Brunswick 360, wedge included.

These may be more complicated than what you were thinking, but they've been on mine and everyone else's wish list for quite some time. Plus I'm here in Dallas so we could work out a deal :) Hope you're doing well and located the Gold Crown of your dreams.-Ryan

i like all of these
i would love to tribute a szamboti, but barry didn't feel comfortable

i owned a barbell cue ,and i love yours

palmer is a possibility
but i think i would turn to bob owen to do the ebony fronts

if about 5 of you would join me i will get bob to do them

thats not my szamboti cue.. i really wish it was... i was looking through pics of many that were re-done and i felt that would have been one that wasnt over tributized by the masses..

but i guess if barry is unconfortable.. its understandable.. atleast you went to him to ask permission.. i know alot of people would never even givin it a thought..

Easy answer Dean

Palmer modle J Ebony front Cue with the pretty veneers and pearl everywhere!
Nick :)

Whatever design is decided upon, I would suggest you urge Evan to STRONGLY consider a cue with sharp points.

Seems like one of the biggest gripes with the previous tributes was the fact that the points were rounded CNC. If they were to go the sharp-point route, I'd hazard a guess they could pull a couple hundred more dollars for each...even without fancy inlays and such.

Just an idea.....

if you guys want sharp points
place an order with me for a Bob Runde tributr

bob makes sharp points and i can get him to make them

in fact i have a new, hoppe style right now by bob runde

if its theme style ,check out my gambling mouse by drexler

probably the best design ever,by the only talent capable of making such a beauty

Here's my thoughts tonight

how about a TAD, 4 PT cue or The early style R.Black ( Hardwood Pts 1 venner, stainless steel collared , Ivory ferrulesd shafts. - that Alan Hopkins used ,and even The Miz- played with the Blacks winning winning and Hopkins still played. . I actually Hit balls around several Times _ He carried 3 r.B. customs ebony pted . The breaker was 25 oz. Been to RB shop- visit just to the all the cues .and MR Paul RUBINO makes a fine fine Hoppe Conversian-!!!!!!!! I did get a friend to puchase 6-7 cues in the early days. 80's. and they were all a deal for like 7,000. mark
