Gene, I really was impressed by you and enjoyed watching your matches.

Mike Tiger

Hi there Mike,

You made the tournament more fun for me with your enthusiasm.

And thank you for letting me hit some balls on your table the night before the tournament. I really needed that.

I read all the stories and it made me feel like I was right there again. Your very good at what you do.

Thanks again my friend Geno.

Special night tonight.......

My son, Roney Lozano is starting tonight for the Cinncinati Bearcats. They play Pittsburg tonight on ESPN.

Roney is an Offensive lineman. Little guy. 6"2" 280.

This is his first start. He red shirted for 2 years.

I'll be at FaST Eddies tonight in Waco but I can assure everyone that my eyes will be glued on that game.

I will be going up the Cincy within the next 2 months so I can watch one of the home games.

Pool and football.

Oh, and by the way, he can play a little pool also. For right now though he has his priorities in line.

Just had to share this. Pretty proud of this young man.

Thank you Mr mike.................

It was fun both ways watching you do something you truely enjoy doing.

And a great job you did.

After each match you had the ability to see where the huge turning point was in each match.

Your attention and devotion to what you do really added to the excitement for my.

I know where you got the Tiger from.

Thanks again geno............

Finally won one..............

Not the biggest tourny that I've been in for the last 4 months but it was on some real tough tables and some seasoned players.

It was sweet because the guy that put me in the losers bracket at the Texas Open played me in the finals.

We were tied up 6-6 and I'm shooting the 8 ball with just a little angle. Perfect for drifting over for a shot on the 9 ball.

I stroked it and aimed it perfect. The cue ball grabbed the 8 ball and pushed it straight forward. I couldn't believe it. I even had some right English to try and keep that from happening.

Now it's 7-6 instead of 7-6 my way. Then he breaks and makes the 9 ball putting him on the hill.

what a turnaround from a skid.

I broke the next rack, it's alternating breaks. I run out. Now it's 8-7.

Leroy breaks and makes nothing. I make a tough shot and run out.

Now it's hill hill.

I got down on the next break. Got Perfect in my stance. Came back with my stroke. When I came forward I felt the power because I had coodinated everything together. Just like a prize fighter when he hits the guys square and he knows he's going down.

The 9 ball missed the corner to the left. Went 2 rails and almost went in the side and continued up and went straight in the top left hand corner.

i couldn't believe it. Match over. Like a walk off homer.

But it was no accident. If you don't hit that head ball dead on with all your power coordinated so no power is wasted the results won't and can't be good.

The one thing I can say on this match is I didn't dog the last break.

Drilled it and it felt so good...........

Thank You Waco Texas And Fast Eddies............

I am swinging through Houston.......

If you swing thought Houston please let us know. I would like to set up a session.

Hi there Jolly Roger,

I am leaving Waco tomorrow the 12th at 12:00. Got my last lesson tonight I think but you never know.

I'm not sure of the time frame here but if you could get back to me i will make sure to hook up with you.

it's off to Emerald Billiards at noon. One of the biggest and best pool halls in the state of Louisiana.

Big Truck(Ray Hansen) will also be there bringing this great event into homes all over the world. Telling it how it really is in these tough tournaments.

I'll be getting there tomorrow night around 7:30, just in time for a great football game.

Green Bay Packers/Chicago bears football game.

It don't get any better than this. great football game and seeing the new playground. Emerald Billiards. Alot of great history there.

If you want to get a special time for a lesson call 715-563-8712.

See Ya all there.....geno.........

Emerald Billiards is SWEET...........

This is one odf the nicest, functional pool halls I have ever seen. I had no idea what to expect when I got there but WOW.

The equipment is flawless and the atmosphere is pure pool heaven.

They smoke there but the ceilings are so high and the ventilation is so good you don't even notice the smoke.

Did one lesson today and got about 4 more set up.

I'm going to stay here a few more days and do a free seminar for the league players on Monday and Tuesday. They got this place pumping full speed ahead and I just hope I can help pump it just a little bit more.

I got some serious issues with my shoulder. There is a muscle or 2 that are not working quite right. it gets feeling real tired and then the stroke just goes crooked and there is nothing I can do except shorten it up. The minute I let it loose I miss the shot bad.

If I rest it for a week or 2 it will get better. I've done that before.

The good news is I can do all the lessons i want and will.

Don't have very high expectations for this tourny though.

Can't wait to see what I can stir up on Monday and Tuesday.

One man, a van and the road....;)

Blew it on the room big time...........

When I come into a town i try to get a room as close to the tournament as possible.

All the main motels are about 10 minutes away and the cheapest is $50.00 per night. With tax about $60.

I'm going to be here a week and that's $350.00. too Much.

I found a little Motel called Mikes Motel with a new owner. I was pretty tired and took the room for a week. After I was loading up my stuff I saw some Cockroaches. Then It got worse in the morning.

the shower didn't work . The sink fills up but takes about a week to drain.

No internet at all but he promised to get it hooked up. This is the first time it's worked in 2 days.

The bed fell to the floor the first night while I was sleeping. Just a few boards holding up the mattress to the frame.

No batteries in the remote but it didn't work once I put in batteries.

Only get 2 - 25 channel anyway.

There is no ground on any of the plugins so I had to bust of the ground on my power strip to plug in anything.

The air conditioning unit was so filthy that I took off the cover and washed it in the tub. It smells alot better now.

But other than that it's not a bad motel.

The good news is that it is $155 for a week. Abd it's only a quarter of a mile from the Emerald Billiards.

I don't think anyone else from the tournament stayed here. It looks kind of scary from the road.

Oh well, it's another adventure. This is one week I won't forget. especially this motel room thing.

Need to be a little more careful next time.

Just need to make the most of it. Saving up money for another motorhome so i don't have to deal with these darn motels and the crazy high prices.

What about your neighbors? What were they like?

Free seminar at Emeralds Monday and TuesdayNights...

They have 14 teams on Monday night ad 16 teams on Tuesday night.

I'll be doing free mini lessons for all the league players and anyone else that is there.

I'll set up 3 or 4 personal lessons on Thursday and friday.

Can't wait to get back to business. this is what it is all about. Helping players make this game easier than ever to play.

Showtime, 7:30 at Emerald Billiards in New Iberia, La.

Got a little action tonight...........

My 5:00 lesson couldn't do it so I started hitting the balls around with some local players. I played a little rough for the first couple of hours.

A couple of guys wanted to start up a ring game. $5 on the 9 and $5 on the 5. I told them i was game.

I hit a gear. I ran the first 3 racks. that was a surprise especially for me because i haven't played much for about 3 weeks. Too many lessons.

Then things settled down and I hit another gear. Almost $400 later the one guy got out. He was the one playing the $15,000 match the other night before the tournament.

The other guy kept playing me and finally quit. I told him I had something to show him and I gave him the Perfect Aim lesson.

He could not believe it. He started firing balls in and even when he missed he said he could see what was going on.

I set up a full lesson with him and his wife tomorrow at 5. What fun this will be. His wife is a 3 in APA. She won't be a 3 too long after learning Perfect Aim.

I really enjoy these husband, wife lessons because it is something they can learn and do together.

Got 3 lessons tomorrow. Need to get some sleep.

Busy day.

Gene, I think you've hit the magic marketing formula....Instead of spending money on marketing, you're making money doing it!

Keep that up and you'll have your motorcoach in no time.

What is magical is watching the look on people's faces when they are taking Gene's lesson. It goes from a nondescript look, to a perplexed look and then to a huge smile. I've seen pool veterans mouths open in aghast when they see how Perfect Aim gets them on track almost immediately and I understand why Gene enjoys giving lessons.

That being said, the expenses of traveling on the road are enormous and the elephant never stops eating.

I would have rather slept in the van. (Even if it was down by the river).

Had some fun tonight......

The players that I worked with on Monday and Tuesday that were on the Thursday night league all came back to me and were all telling me how much better their shooting.

A couple of them said it was the first time that they had won all their games.

It's too bad that players everywhere couldn't see all this and just try Perfect aim without being skeptical.

I just don't know how to convince more players.

So far Perfect Aim has just scratched the surface.

Someday when I'm gone it will be a household name in regards to the way we teach aiming. It's just the way the eyes naturally work and everyone needs to know it to get the most out of their natural ability.

I'm having fun and the players that are learning are too.

That's the main thing.

The calm before the storm.........

The APA qualifyer is tomorrow at Emerald Billiards. The place should be packed.

I won't get there until about noon. Everything should be under way by then.

Nothin prettier than a packed poolroom.

I gave a couple of lessons today and so did charles. Tomorrow should be a great day for everyone.

I almost feel like I'm playin tomorrow.

This has been kind of a nice 2 or 3 days. Gives me a few days to get grounded again. Recharge the batteries.

Sat was great. APA qualifier at Emeralds........

Had some fun Sat giving Perfect Aim mini lessons and showing why this is will soon be considered the way to teach everyone how to aim.

The first APA lesson was with Craig Leblanc. He won his next match 7-1. He was so excited about how well he was seeing the shots that he told everyone. I had a waiting line all day long with hardly time to eat.

Then there was a young lady, Angie Payne from Austin, Tx. She sat for about an hour waiting for the mini lesson. I could see that she was kind of a special player and took the game very seriously after working with her for a short period of time.

She was very happy with what she learned and started applying Perfect Aim to her game. She won the tournament.

Afterwards she came up and thanked me for the knowledge and did a little interview praising what she had learned.

This is the greatest reward a teacher can recieve.

For the weekend I did 27 mini lessons. Each one takes about 15 to 25 minutes. I'm pretty beat today.

I'm heading over to White Diamond Billiards to see what 's going on over there.
