Is the forum running way faster without the long page loads, or is it just me? Anyone else notice that today?

Load times are still slow off and on. Thought it was my computer so I tried it at several different locations and its the same. Maybe the area?
Still the same old lags and timeouts for me. Whatever seemed to be fixed, wasn't.
All over the place.. I have had issues recently with making a response to a thread. I will be typing my note and it will freeze up mid sentence, then when I finally get it done it does not want to load and freezes again. This is the ONLY site I have any issues with so I am fairly sure the problem is not my computer..
Howdy Q... freezing mid-sentence is 100% your PC... the site doesn't talk with your computer when you're in the middle of typing.
Some sites like google do, when they start offering predictions based on what you're typing. But AZB doesn't have anything like that. It's just in a state of waiting until you're done typing and click a button/link. So it's not doing anything that would interfere with your typing.
It's possible some part of the site taxes your computer heavily, causing it to hang, but forums like this are not super resource-intensive. Not like a site that plays video or has animations or whatever. It's just simple text and a few small graphics.
First place I would look if I were in front of your computer: uninstall any toolbars you have installed.
PS: you'll still get timeouts when submitting posts and clicking links like "User CP". Everyone seems to be dealing with those. I've heard they're still working on it though.
It's been fixed at least 7 times over the years so i never get my hopes up.
