BRACKETS manipulation?

There seems to be some weird happenings in the brackets with losing players turning up at unexpected places in the One Loss side.#
Should players who lose in Bracket One switch to Bracket Two ? Or Four? Or Three?
Or to the opposite end of their bracket?
I was surprised to see Darren Appleton paired up with Earl and earlier Ralf Souquet against Brandon Shuff. I have only glanced at this and I might be wrong. Perhaps someone else could check it out
 
Hi Doug. Hope you're well.

The DE charts that AZBilliards are showing for the Open is actually one massive 256 player DE chart, not 4 separate charts leading down to a few players in the latter stages (like the EuroTour does). This does, however, mean that when a player loses in the winners' side, you've got to spend 5 minutes trying to find them in the losers' bracket!

Having a cross over between the winners side and losers side is common in double elimination.

What the other two fellas said is right.
Every year on the flow chart here, they always "cross over" into other brackets.

miss under standing anything can sure breed enteresting

I was not suggesting any impropriety and Cardman probably provided the answer that I was seeking - that it is not four by 64 man sheets but one 256 man draw.

For those who pointed it out of course I am aware of the need for crossovers.

But in an earlier posting Mike H said that he had made some mistake crossing players over so there must be a protocol for this which is not shown on these charts.
