Mosconi Cup Teams?

So now that the last ranking event for the Mosconi Cup is over, does anyone have any idea when matchroom will announce each team's roster? Any predictions on the line-up?

Well I think that the US team will be: SVB, Dechaine, Archer, Shuff, Hatch.
The European: Appleton, Van den Berg, Souquet, Ortmann and...I have no idea who will be the fifth. Melling? Alcaide? Ouschan? Or Ekonomopoulos?

Any info on when the teams will be announced is appreciated. And you can post up any roster predictions here!

Teams will be announced on Monday. Shane and Mike D. are the only ones for sure, and the other three have been selected and will be announced on Monday. I believe they're the best for the job this year. imho CJ Wiley

Likewise Mike, it's the challenging things in life that are usually the most worthwhile, winning the CUP in York Hall will be very worthwhile!

Team be Nick, Darren, Chris, Neils and 1 of Albin or Ekonomopoulos
 
I agree with Lee's prediction for europe, I would fancy Ouschan to get the 5th pick. Will be weird not having Souquet if he doesn't get picked.

Jimmy called the USA team right as long as Dechaine and Hatch can get on after what happened at TAR 25.

I think USA still need Archer

I had not realized they changed the eligibility requirements, yet again. Each year, they do seem to change the rules for who's getting in.

So, if that's the case, then here's my picks for Team USA:

Earl Strickland
Dennis Hatch
Mike Dechaine
Shane Van Boening
Brandon Shuff

I don't see why Johnny Archer should get a free pass to be a member of Team USA. Let somebody else step up to the plate who worked their butt off this year; many of whom, if not all, WITHOUT A SPONSOR paying their way, I might add.

Earl would lose his freaking mind playing in york hall. I agree he has played fantastic this year. But that place gets insane! I just dont think he could handle it and keep his cool.

He's hitting 'em strong right now, though, a lot better than some of those other eggs. I'd like to see Earl spank those Boxing Brits and European robots.

I would love to see Earl show up not say a word and shoot them all full of holes. And on the way out just bow and give them all the bird.

If anyone has earned a spot based on life time performance it's Earl. If Jonny gets a pass Earl should be in front of the line.

Just the fact that CW has nothing to do with things will make more people actually root for the US this year.
 
Remaining 3 spots should go to: Earl, Archer, and Corey Deuel. That would be a very strong Mosconi Cup team
 
If the team is being announced on Monday, does that mean that breaking-with-the-9-on-the-spot-practice begins on Tuesday?
