Actually Ingo, CJ has been alluding to the left-foot-in-line-with-the-shot theory for a while now, without delving too deeply into it.

I played around with it, just a little, and decided to hold off on that until I have the time to really concentrate more on it, and other potential changes. If I'm gonna make any substantial changes, I need to be ready to have the time to really work on those changes.

It interests me, though. Hopefully he will elaborate on it after the Mosconi Cup.

It's just possible that AZ is not best forum for pros like him to pontificate. The group has a long standing history of knowledge posters with diverse backgrounds who like to engage in scientifically based give and take. When someone new comes here and cannot back up their claims, if not with science, then at least a logical explanation, then they're probably not in the right place to begin with.

And it's not as if his stuff is completely unavailable. Go to his web site, Facebook page, buy his DVD. I'm sure you'll get what you crave there and can sing kumbaya with everyone else that enjoys his brand of knowledge.

BTW, I learned more $h!t from CJ in the past few weeks than I have in the past few years listening to the AZB Masters.

That doesn't surprise me Mike, not with your apparent reading skills. CJ didn't get run off like you want to believe, he even said so. He has other work to do right now and is taking a break. CJ has attempted to teach TWO things on here. If that is all you learned on here in two years, I guess that puts you in the same category as English. Enjoy the company. I was playing in national nine ball tourneys in the 70's and playing with Dallas West. What pearls of wisdom other ,"keep your head down" and "the wrist doesn't do anything", are you going to teach me?

My clique, if you haven't noticed, is not a gang of 4 or 5. It's more like the rest of the world versus your opinions. I expected the few trolls that hit every aiming thread to raise their heads, but this is a new look for you. You didn't have to take everything CJ said as a rule. He even said so.

You've been stalking him on every post. Come out and say it! I can't stand the man! If it was me, I would've asked you to go away with your personal attacks a long time ago. He showed a ton of self constraint.

Yeah, I'm stupid. My career field was electrical engineering. Now I'm a general contractor and martial arts instructor. I teach people to stand up to bullies in verbal and physical situations. You hit all the red lines, passively and aggressively. Take a breath and step back. You're wrong, here, and thousands want to hear what CJ has to say. We'll take what we want from him. Not what you deem factual.

The first part of your post was a reasonable thought. I read it and understood what you were trying to say. This could be true. Then I read the second paragraph and realized it was just a lead in to bash the issue again.

Cj kills you with kindness, so you go trolling someplace else. I've heard from 3 out of the 5. I must have hit a nerve. ;)

I didn't call you stupid. But, since you seem to think that you can only learn something from a professional player, well.....if the shoe fits. Maybe if you bothered to read his posts without the hero bias you say you don't have, you would see he has no self restraint and offered nothing but crap. I'm not sure what he said that has led to such harsh words, like "nothing but crap". Were you always so blunt Neil? I personally would like CJ to stick around, and he seems to be a decent enough guy who has never really lost his temper on here. To me that shows plenty of self-restraint.

If he makes some claim that is not scientifically accurate, if he has some misconception, I personally would let it go... because having a pro post regularly on here is more interesting than having the usual squabbles between this APA4 and that APA6.

Honestly you're coming off as really bitter and antagonistic here.

Yep, it's parallel...a lot of top players do this (I've started paying attention to their feet, lately). It tends to pull your stance into a little more of a squared off one (kind of snooker-like, but definitely not that far). Seems to help in consistency, feels a little more stable. But it WILL feel strange at first, unless you're used to doing it.

Neil, I have appreciated your contributions here from the first day I logged on. I used to look forward to the next "what would you do?" thread eagerly. I was very disappointed when you punched out and erased all your content, because it was very helpful. You were welcoming, even to this pool noob.

I don't know what's happened, but you have become a very bitter person, at least here on the forum. I hope all is well in the real world with you and yours.

Just a thought to leave you with, have you recognized the irony of the fact that you and Lou are doing to CJ, what Lou and Patrick would do with Stan? Just the irony of you and Lou is enough for me, after all you two have gone through over the time that I've been here...

Again, I value you and Lou (and Patrick, and most everyone else) and appreciate what you guys offer to the forum community. I just wish you guys could coexist in a better fashion.

To start off...I have not waded through this thread. I have read the last page or two and have something I think should be added.

Mr. Wiley should be shown the utmost respect for his accomplishments when he played better than 99.9% of the WORLD! For a player of that caliber to be able to communicate what he was/is doing is a tremendous task. If ya'll remember he exhibited an understanding of this point when he first started posting. My hats off to this MASTER of the game for trying to enhance the game which has given him so much.

I have been exposed to the best instructors the PGA had to offer. I have been exposed to the best players the PGA had to offer. None of the instructors could play as well as the players and the players could not teach as well as the instructors. I have never seen a great golfer bashed for trying to communicate his "way" to students. I have seen the PGA work hard to formalize the LAWS and PREFERENCES of the game in an attempt to bring order to the chaos. Maybe the pool world could learn from the PGA.

Those who would attack Mr. Wiley instead of support/teach him need to take a long look in the mirror and decide if their criticisms of Mr. Wiley are in the best interest of themselves and the game.

If so, you are correct. He did not. He did however get frustrated with the 'Vigilante Committee' & the distortions, nit picking, & insults with which they 'bombarder' him.

It's the gang mentality. Surround & conquer. They probably have a silent partner, assisting in the coordination of the onslaught.

In any case, I'm glad to see more AZB'ers recognizing & speaking out against the inappropriate, purposeful, & perhaps if not probably coordinated behavior.

Read back farther, I explained why and what I am bitter about. I give up. It obvious that many on here are so foolish and narrowminded that they think only a pro has any value to give them. And they can't even see that what this particular pro is saying is baloney because they still haven't learned enough to see through him. Posting anything teaching wise on here is obviously a waste of time. This used to be a great site, could still be, but too many on here don't care about that, they only want a hero to follow. They want to be able to say "I talked to CJ!" Well, you guys can have what you want. Enjoy it. Far too many on here have ears but do not hear, have eyes but do not see. Have fun with your stumbles trying to learn from people that flat out don't care about you learning anything of value but are only interested in getting fans. Have to increase his facebook numbers you know.
