So I was watching one of my TAR DVDs last night and it got me to thinking of who I would like to see go at it in the TAR pit. Although these matches may never happen, it's fun to think of the possibilities.

Think of the best/coolest/funniest match-ups, and I'll make a cool fake TAR poster/ad. Here's mine:

Earl v Kid Delicious (a fast and loose shooter vs a slow and steady hustler)

Mark Griffin v Charlie Williams (CSI vs ABP, to get all their hate for each other out on the table!)

Who would you pay money to see?
 
Shane vs Appleton- 8 Ball
Bartrum vs Kelly Fisher- 9 Ball
Shane vs Frost-1 Pocket
McCready vs James Davis Jr- 10 Ball Bar Table
Donnie Mills vs Earl Strickland-9 Ball
Oscar D vs Keith Bennett-Rematch


The Bartrum/Fisher matchup would be interesting just to see what the gap in abilities is....

Also- All of the above would be gambling matches and not TAR prizefunds.

Straight pool, 1,000 points....4 day match..first to 250,500 750, 1,000.
Lots of candidates for this, I'd prefer John Schmidt and the Lion.

Also - Schmidt vs. Harriman, the 4 day race to 1000 in straight pool (I know this is a snowball's chance).

Corey vs. anyone... where'd this guy go?

Shuff vs. Shuffet, just so people can finally get it straight. Plus, it might be an interesting match.

Anybody vs. Brumback, banks... maybe alex?
I never saw this guy play, or for that matter saw anyone gamble at banks, just some youtube dcc footage. Would like to see serious banks.

dennis hatch vs earl strickland would be cool. both guys are vocal and would be an awesome match to watch if theyre both mic'd up.

I don't think that's one I'd be willing to put my paycheck on. Freddie has forgotten more about banking than most people know, and well, we all know Brumback is a banks monster. They can both play top notch full rack. Short rack is all about firepower, full rack is a thinking man's game. I wouldn't bet against either of these guys.
