Why did Mike Deshane opt out?

Well, after 22 pages of posts, I think I am caught up on everything here. Still need to reply to the emails and texts that I got today talking about Wilson being out of control, etc, etc.

Juice, I was taught long ago that there is one word you never call a female. I have used it once in a pool room when I was much younger and stupider. You would have thought that E.F. Hutton was talking because the entire room went silent.

Your "temporary" ban for using that word was completely justified and no warning was needed.

I don't agree with the perma-ban, although I can see where Wilson is coming from.

Tate, you were out of line with the asshole comment. The biggest difference between you and Juice was that he barged into the thread with one goal and that was to attack Jam.

As has been pointed out, it is unfair to ban Juice for his choice of words and allow Tate to get by with what he said.

So, lets all calm down a little bit here. I will go back to the temp ban on Juice, and as much as I hate to do it, Tate gets a vacation too. Sorry, membership does not give that privilege.

And if anyone is unhappy with this, how about you go play some with James Roberts.

Sounds fair enough. This is what happens when you turn the kids loose in the poolroom, or pool thread i guess lol. We all curse, get out of line, etc, at the end of the day it usually bs either way.

And for the record I am not a friend of Juice and I cannot stand TheThaiger and disagree with him about 98% of the time (thus, this is a rare moment for me).

Weak decision that reaks of an emotional defenisive decision by a mod intstead of logic and objectivity.

Are you really going to ban people from the forum because they have the audacity to disagree with a decision of yours?

And undersrtand, your fault was not in a ban, it was in the "reasoning" that you clearly and freely offered for that change to the permanent ban based on your annoyance that everyone on this forum did not give you a high five and a "WTG Mr Wilson, we love you!!!"

No I wouldn't be ok with it. But that isn't the point. The point is that the rules are not enforced equally. Did you do anything to bobby chamberlain for his sex with children references?

But one thing is certain dave. My child is not shielded from life's vulgarities. She will know what they are and the proper time and place to use them if any. As well she will know the meanings and which context to use them in. She will be taught to apply justice fairly.

Were she able to read I would not only allow her to read this thread I would encourage it.

That was a classic closing line by Mike Howerton. Putting a little levity into romper room at that time shows something @ him, and is telling of what Mike prefers here.

As an aside, what if John Barton and JAM were single and hooked up? They'd be soulmates, right? LMAO J/K!!! (<-- added so as not to offend anyone)
