Yep, have to wonder or maybe not. After reading of Martin's mishap and a few others on occasion.

There are only 3 houses on the block I live on, and I am intersected by two alley ways.

I pulled out of the driveway and onto the main street in front of the house. I saw a UPS van and the delivery man about to start up my front walk.

I beeped the horn and rolled down the window. He looked at me and said my address. I said, thats right and he handed me the package thru the window, no sig or questions.

I could have been anybody that pulled out of the alley. If I were to be stealing a package and he were to ask questions, I could have covered my butt by saying that I am a neighbor and knew that they weren't home and was offering to hold the package until they got home.

No wonder its easy to follow these guys around and scoop packages.

There's a good chance that he got your license number.
I'll bet you missed the mini-cam sticking out of his shirt pocket
and the dash-cam in his truck.
Needless to say, they've got your number buddy.

He lives in Canada, i don't think they have that sophisticated technology, but if they do, its probably had Tim Hortons spilled all over it.and doesn't work.. :-)

Time for a change

Someone will come in and take the business away from them. They are the worst!!!!!!!Don't trust UPS..............Ray Weeks

Where I live, FED-EX is the worst. My UPS driver always backs up my driveway and blows the horn. He'll at least knock on the door. I've had the same UPS driver for a couple years and he knows who I am and where to leave packages when I'm not here.

The FED-EX drivers never come up my drive and just leaves packages on my front porch without knocking or at least ringing the door bell.

And the post office holds all my packages which is nice for me.

Duh, eh? They have technology, eh? in Canada,eh? Don't you understand anything abooot that, eh?

Had UPS employees steal big ticket item(5K)..

Had to inform USPS about their own policies regarding registered mail(the "postmaster" was obtuse to them).

My UPS guy is good....UPS in general can suck it..

OH....and the "fuel surcharge".....just a way to gouge some more damn money....

My 9 to 5 is in a warehouse on the shipping line, so I interact with ups, fedex, abs, etc. All the guys and girls are the truck drivers and they tell me that it can be a crapshoot sometimes once the package is sent to the final destination. The ups guy that delivers to my house has been the same for about 3 years now. Fedex is a different story. Post office is pretty good. It all depends on where you live in my opinion. I have never had a package get stolen, but I live in the country and have a very large rotty. The ups guy has dog treats.

UPS service has been pretty good for me. They lose a package every couple of years at the most and I ship many hundreds of packages a year. They are expensive, but reliable.

area you live makes a big difference

when i have a package at the post office, my mailman calls me and ask if i want to pick it up, or should he just put it in the garage. my store is about a block away from the post office.
if my fedex guy has a package to be delivered to my home, and he happens to be near my jewelry store for another delivery, he just brings it to the jewelry store.
i fenced off 7 acres for my 2 big poodles, i had to put up a gate across my driveway, my ups driver, stops his truck opens the gate, pulls inside stops and recloses the gate, my driveway is about 600 feet long , he then brings the package to me, leaves, reopens the gate pulls outside, then recloses the gate.

this is the type of service you might get if you lived in mid missouri in a very small town

That is the kind of service you get in most small towns. The nightmare is when a substitute driver gets the route for a day and messes everything up.
My next door neighbor brought me a package that was left for me on his door step. But that is another advantage of small town life. Your neighbors generally tend to handle things with integrity.

That is exactly what I was stateing the drivers aren't the ones who put the company in a bad place it's the "office staff"....DON'T TRUST UPS!!!

So..again.

Sent some cash USPS(registered) today and told the clerk he should count it.....

He said......."Why?"

I had to explain the reason..... :(
