So why did you choose to write some of the cues 'names' down for most, but leave out a few? The name is what makes a cue stand out, please go back through and fix the ones you screwed up on. It's despicable to see a high end cue be described as "ivory nose" when it has a name.

If the name of the cue was used in the original entry post, then I used it... if it was not, I didn't. If you think it is so despicable not to use a name, then why didn't you post the name of the cue in the entry instead of just "Surprised no one has nominated this cue yet."

I guess I cue have simply named it "Surprised no one has nominated this cue yet."

And with that my AZ friends, I am done with the AZ Cue of the Year. I'm tired of getting abused each year. Obviously others think they can do a better job of it, so someone else can step up next year.

The name is what makes a cue stand out?! If this is the case, perhaps we shouldn't be shown pictures of the cues and we should just vote on the 2012 Cue Name of the Year?!

Sorry you've had to deal with all of these tools Jamie. I know this is a thankless job but I'll thank you anyway. Thank you for your hard work in putting this together, it is very much appreciated!

Pretty much a douchebag move posting this here. Jamie gave everyone ample time to nominate with whatever pics and info. Cant expect the man to chase down info or read minds.....lol.

Jamie, major kudos to you for doing this once again.....obviously too many nits to fade.

Tap for Jamie for taking on this project every year, I know it is a lot of work but it gives the cue makers and collectors a very nice showcase and I know it is appreciated by everyone who loves cues.

Thanks Jamie,

Rick

wow what a great poll this turned out to be, I NEED more than one vote, its just not possible to go with one cue, too many great cues.

I really like the Purple Cue & matching case, its not a huge cue, however its got enough good stuff going for it to be a top cue of the year. Probably wont get the votes needed but that's ok, i love it and it deserves lots of credit.

Thanks Jamie

I just want to say thanks to Jamie for this project and all his other posts that offer a positive contribution to AZ. I look forward to this and other insightful contributions. Jamie, I appreciate you time and effort that goes into this project. Thanks so much,
Sincerely,
Phil Dade

BTW, we all need to remember that there is no IQ test to post here, I think the overwhelming majority here appreciates and applauds your effort.

I dont know who the hell JACH H Veneered cue is, but it got my vote.

LOL

If he wins or I guess whoever wins, I recommend or suggest that they have some professional (or someone who is really good) do a really good photoshoot of the winner.

Hope I didnt piss anyone off, and if I did ....too bad.

Ken
