i was wondering what it means.
Roberta, I make it through Hampton Roads a couple times of year. I have family and friends in the area (VA Beach) Im still working at not sucking at pool but would be glad to meet up next time I am in the area.
This is a great idea to get peoples location. I also wonder if anyone is going to be at the SBE show this year? AZB should have a meeting place for fellow AZBers to go meet other members. It is always nice to put the face to a name. Happy New Year to all!!

I realized I never listed my location, we have spoken many times about Palmers, Hoppe Pro's, Rambow's etc. and recall you would always ask me where I lived.
Now I am offically located, in the Chicago area, whenever your in Chi- town look me up and shoot some pool, might even knock the dust off one of the Spains for you!

The "green rep" he is referring to is shown by the green boxes under the block where your location is listed. It is a function of an outdated and partially broken system that the forum software has for rewarding (or penalizing) users "reputation" here.
Click on the little scale icon in the top right corner of the post block, next to the post number. That will give you the option to like or dislike that persons post, and to give you a place to say why. "Good" rep get you more green boxes, "bad" rep gets you red boxes.
It takes many more red reps to equal one green rep, which is why you don't see folks with red rep very often. That, and the system maxes out at a certain level. It doesn't work terribly well for it's intended purpose, but the giving of "greenies" is still a fun sort of "attaboy" that many still use. You can see who has given you rep and their comments by clicking on the UserCP button near the top left.
I believe my location been listed since day 1.
