How About An AZB "Undercard" Match For A TAR Match?

John Schmidt vs CJ

John Bartram vs Geno

These would be awesome.....

I detect some mistakes in this post.
A- it is Chris Bartram
B- none of these players are under-card material...they be stars

regards
pt..<..hopes you take no offense

i know who im talking to ,its a much more civil adult way to tal on fb.
u guys take care im gonna do my best to stay off here as azb is fun but not productive at all for me,to much hate, negativity, etc etc.

Hey Schmitty,

Don't let em run you off, lol. Besides, the beer's colder, here.

Eric

the top ten list include a couple a,b,c,d, and one strong a player wannabe pro.
trust me most people who r new to pool and play bad know it and arent the know it all braggarts im referring to.
its usually strong b weak a players who really make the list. one guy is without a doubt number one on list and fits everything i said.
ive had fun back on azb but im kinda into fb now.

John, that is a big problem on here. Most of us love the game and respect the players for their ability level. Personally I am just a recreational player still learning the game but try and keep my eyes and ears open so I can keep soaking up the knowledge and improve. I appreciate your contributions to the forum and other pro players who have graced us with their presence. It is a shame a few of these knuckleheads ruin it for all of us who want to improve our games and rub elbows with players we look up to.

In all seriousness a good undercard match would be something with trash talkers. Get em out of retirement.
Something like this:

Keith McCready (vs) Tony Watson

Two good talkers, and both have always been fun to watch

I rarely disagree with your posts.....
...but this is not an under-card match..imo
Keith and Tony are stars...this might break a stream record...

..and mic 'em

I think this is a great idea, especially with the loser banned for a year and the winner getting bragging rights.

Like John, I can think of a top ten list and imagine that JCIN would probably pick from among them with no trouble. It is more a matter of these people being willing to put it on the line.

There are several people who are adamant about their positions on various matters so lets see them step up and truly defend their well known and well worn positions.

If they can't step up then they should back off.

I have read the whole thread and note that some of the worst offenders are conspicuous by their absence. Says something right there doesn't it.

A little woofin for TAR might heat it up a little.

BTW John, that is my favorite Winchester I am holding in the avatar. And I can hit the 8 from 100 yards with that baby. Great rifle. Can't see it very well in the avatar but I spent many hours sighting it in. I have been a sucker for the smaller rifles for a long time. But there is always someone better and what my son-in-law does at 1,000 yards with a .50 cal. leaves me with my mouth open. I used to live just up the country road from you a few years ago. It has been a few years so I might need a few shots to hit the 8 now.

John,
Your visit to AZ was, at least, a little productive.
You did receive a potential income opportunity and for all of the right reasons.
Also, Thanks for the referral in your earlier post.

Would it be bad to have a couple of fairly big names on an under card? would be nice to see if you give a good product away if the pool people will show up.

I will put my own name there and state for the record that you [Lou F] get 9-8 for $100 a rack. Don't ever play me though because IF I outrun the nuts against you it will part of my signature forever and I will put the video in with every case I deliver. :-)

If this goes off. I will side bet $100 a game on Lou.

Seriously, who gives a damn what you think? You're a great pool player. Good job! You've invested your life into being good at something that made you $16,900 (in tournaments) lat year. I would bet the people on your list have real jobs, make real money and wouldn't trade that to play good like you.

I've got no beef with you and think you're a great guy, but dude, it's the internet. Who cares...

Well, nobody will ever accuse cleary of being a nut-hugger.

I dunno about Lou, but JB/John Barton is just an average amateur hack. Not a high level amateur like he likes to portray.

And nobody can say Eric is vague about how he rates someone's game.
I imagine JB will make some sort of offer.

I like the whole ideal of this.

I would surely buy the match if had Pj vs Spidey.
Or Jb vs Lou.

Would be epic on here for sure.

Has any pro's on here ever ask for help?Just wondering

Being a champ at something dosnt that mean something.
I like people saying just what they want but I think sometimes one should hold back from saying certain things.

My top 3 list for the pro's that get on here that I have great respect are.
.1.Geno
2.CJ
3 Stan.
No certain order but these guys have taking a beating by a lot of us and not once have they ever really got out of line.
Great Guys and I thank them for being on here.
I could add more to my list.

I don't think John or any one objects to mid-level players discussing pool. It gets annoying (to some, more amusing to me than annoying) when mid-level players consistently post as if they were champions. There's probably a 4 or 5 in every APA division that is annoying in the same way.

In any case, I vote for JB vs. Lou, with Eric as an alternate in case either doesn't show up. (I had one of my more memorable matches against Eric, APA in Vegas some time ago--he won, but only via some impressive multi-rail kick escapes.)

Hey Cory, how ya been? That was a memorable match. You must be a one pocket player, you locked me up TIGHT (in the rack) a couple of times. Good match for two amateur hacks, lol.

This post is an old offer from JB Cases/Barton:

I suppose i was just wondering out loud, if it was still an offer?

Wow you guys use to get pretty fiesty on here back in the day! I'd love to see this match as an under card!!!

Thank you Fran! I enjoy playing Jaden but with a national audience I would probably vomit all over the table - can you imagine the look on Justin's face if I did?

Besides, I only play on 4.125" pockets cut a 141 degree miters.

Chris

It's very "cozy" at the TAR studio - you should only be aware of the 12 or 13 of us that are there watching - we are very supportive and we do behave :)

lol. Yeah I remember all that and more going back to RSB. It's one of the reasons I never take John's woofing seriously. He's got more conditions than a 90-year-old. (That's one of the reasons that $20K challenge posted earlier with the link was done by proxy.) Him and me -- never going to happen. If he hasn't managed to find me at one of the many events I've attended in the last 10 years, he's not going to manage to find me at one of them in the next 10 years.

But he does like to sit on the porch and yap, doesn't he :-)
