Has anyone used one? Need to know if it's really worth the money. I play with a kamui black medium so i know it was more or less designed for use with that tip. Any help is appreciated, just want a solid review before i order one.
I don't use it anymore anyway. It took me a while but I've learned not to piss about with tips too much and just let them be.
I got my gator here on AZ it was used, I still use it everyday. Funny thing is that if you look at the tip after your done, it doesn't seem to have any effect but you can tell when you shoot after you use the gator. I like cause it doesn't rip it to shreds.
If you use the gator grip correctly, rolling your tip on it, it is amazing and doesn't tear up your tip. It is the only thing I use on my Kamui tips.
I think they are worth it. BTW I play with a Kamui Black SS
This is correct. I believe it will not get dirty if you use it properly. The intent is to *roll* your tip on it. It puts a micro-porous surface on the tip that holds chalk very well and doesn't sand down the tip. The beauty of this tool is that if you exclusively use this (correctly), your tip will last a really long time.
I personally think it is the best tool out there and much better than anything else I've used.
