Will anyone take side action as I've never seen Eric play but I'll blindly take his side against these two for some fun.
Anyone got video of Eric playing? Seems like I saw one once but I could be mistaken. I will send mucho karma points for a link.
My google skills are weak, I only found one blog entry by Mike Fingers who thought he should have easily beaten Eric in a tournament but lost.
Also to add I am so glad to see that OMGWTF is still hanging around. We could all do with a healthy dose of her heart and wit!
I'd do some Googling if I knew Eric's last name. If you know it, PM me, or post here if it's publicly known.
Update on matches: (my guess)
Barton vs Nick (not gonna happen)
Barton vs Eric (I think it's unlikely but its close)
Eric vs Emily (not gonna happen)
Eric vs Borana (not gonna happen)
OMGWTF vs Borana (omg is ready, Borana is crunching details, I say yes)
D_Lewis vs Cleary (if I'm at SBE, we will play, if not maybe Vegas in July)
Anyone vs Lenny the Lock (highly unlikely)
Did I miss any matches?
Barton vs. Nick - Nick is under some sort of self imposed travel restriction so unless I happen to be in the right part of the world at the right time it's not happening.
Barton vs. Hu - possible as I will be in Eric's area for a week. Still undecided if his attitude has improved enough to warrant a match. But who knows, proximity won't be a problem.
Barton vs. LouF. - Unlikely as Lou will probably make himself unavailable should he happen to attend the upcoming SBE. But for that one I am always willing to make time when we are both at the same event with me giving up 9:8.
OMGWTF - Borana - HOPE it happens. Both of them played "questionably" last time they played BUT they both displayed a lot of heart.
TAR DONKEY MATCH UNDERCARD IDEA? Super Solid.
Internet Grudge Match series? Also solid idea if streamed wherever possible. Bets should be for as silly of tasks as can be legally carried out.
I think I may be the default azbilliards donkey.
Whenever I've seen Eric, he's been pretty quiet and respectful when playing (I think I've seen him 2-3 times now, at TAP events) I hope you guys can get a game and settle the mini grudge.
At SBE, you aren't the most available person. Your booth is always pretty busy. If Lou gets in the box, I'll throw a small sweat bet down on him just to watch. Very cheap and friendly. If I get in the box, you're more then welcome to do the same.
I have a feeling that Borana and omgwtf will be playing, it's just setting details that work for both.
It's not when he is playing that bugs me. It is his actions here. I doubt we can settle our grudge but I might have to play him and hope I win so I can say I beat him every time he wants to pipe up and put my game down.
Let's be real clear. I am giving a guy weight whom the entire planet thinks should be able to give me huge weight. So I obviously don't want to side bet. But I would try it for say 4-1 on the money if you want. I feel that I have little to no chance getting weight from Lou and giving it I might not win a game until after we colonize Mars.
I agree. These two know how to make a game and stick to it.
I meant very very very friendly. Like who had to pay for dinner on site. Not putting a hand in the piggy jar type of friendly betting.
Barton vs. Hu - possible as I will be in Eric's area for a week. Still undecided if his attitude has improved enough to warrant a match. But who knows, proximity won't be a problem.

Rodney---ok really a 3
Looks like I need a spot in using the right there, they're, or their too.

Proximity wasn't a problem last year at SBE. Or the year before. Or the year before that. Still, when Eric approached you, you found reasons to not play.
Just from my experience, John is very busy at the booth at SBE. I was going to see if he wanted to play but the booth is packed from when they open to until they're closing.
