Where Have All The Kamui Chalk Warrior's Gone?

A year ago...it was the hottest topic on AZB?

Have you "wised-up" and stopped paying 30 bucks a chunk for the label on the chalk?

I still use mine every day and it looks like it has about 10 years of life left. I will buy another cube in another decade no doubt.

Okay, I use Brunswick or Master...it's cheap as chip's... meet's my pre-shot routine without concern about how much this stuff cost's/last's?

If it's that precious...you shouldn't be playing pool with it...it's a consumable. Like cue tips...they all wear away...layered or not.

Don't worry about it....FOCUS on what's important?:grin-square:

How much would it Frick up your game to play without Kamui Chalk...

When it's nut cuttin time????

I would not play with anything else but Kamui.. If it was $100 a cube I think I might still buy it. Started using it about a year ago and I honestly can only remember mis-cueing once! Can not even come CLOSE to saying that while using master as I like to spin the ball. In turn that gives me much more confidence while hitting those shots and therefore wins me more money/tournament matches.. Paid for itself literally about 200+ times over.

i got a cube as a xmas present....it changed my PSR because of not having to chalk before every shot but that was no "deal changer". i find it does what it says it will do except i have to chalk before every game. i tried the "once per day" chalking and i had the tip get a little glassy and i miscued a couple of times. before kamui chalk i used nir and blue diamond, when the kamui is done i will switch back to the blue diamond. i do not think that the price difference between kamui and blue diamond is justifiable IMHAO.

I forgot to mention in my previous post that I chalk pretty much every shot.

Still using my first cube and have a second cube on hand in case I lose it. I won't use anything else.

What do the "Pro's" Use...??? What ever the sponsor put's on the table.

It's not the arrow...it's the archer.

There are many pros who use kamui exclusively. Go bash something that DOESNT work instead of a quality product that YOU don't see the need to purchase.

Do the tires on your car wear out? Do you buy the cheapest tires when it's time to replace them? Do you see the difference in quality from a low level product to a high level product?

I still use my first cube that I bought a year ago and that's the only thing I use to chalk up. Starting to think that I need to buy a new one in a couple of months. The best chalk on the planet!

I have no idea what the "pro's" use as I don't follow them.

All I know is that the Kamui chalk works for me. Nothing wrong with other chalk, I just love the grip of Kamui and not having to chalk every shot.

Well put. I also think if a player uses center ball a lot or is a weaker player, they may not even see the difference.

I have some in my case but I usually just use masters. I don't see a difference at all. Plus, using masters makes your shaft nice and blue ;)

Honestly I think they're the best in the planet at marketing. Someone with balls and a deep understanding of psychology knew that if they wildly overpriced it, they'd convince people it's a premium item and therefore worth it.

If they priced it at $5 a cube, changing nothing else, it wouldn't be even a fraction as successful. And at that price point I bet they'd still have made a nice profit.

If you can't see a difference, you haven't tried or used it very long. It's clearly a superior product. The only negative I see is that it marks the CB a bit.

This is what I think about a helluva lot of products. In fact, a used car dealer will mark a car up if it is slow to move.

Barry Interesting.

The (blue Master's) marks all over my ball bother me and I would think that a chalk that would require lower application frequesncy would leave less residue.

Well, shid. I am wrong again.
