I'm really excited about this. For one I'm relegated to shooting on shitty bar tables all the time. Secondly no one ever wants to shoot all the time and play anything other than bar rules. Third meeting new people that enjoy the game is good times. Oh and my new cue should be here any day now!
 
Just a thought you might want to pick a sanction so we all play by the same rules when we have little tourneys and stuff
 
I just got home from Red Shoes and got a couple other AZers that will hopefully show up. One is Big Chris he put on the WCCS show and the other is a good friend, Ted Antle both were not aware that this is happening. Next Saturday folks mark it on the calendar!
 
I'm probably bringing another one too. Guys a real good shooter. Taught the guy that taught me lol so that who I'm blaming

Dan: Sounds like you went to the banks tournament. How was the turn out?

I checked the stream once and saw Ted playing Dave Kucan straight pool. I had a couple make ups to do in Straight Pool but figured with the banks, it would be too crowded.

I am going to send a notice of this to the 26 players in our Straight Pool League and I will get Rich Klein to send this to some of the guys in the Illinois Billiard Club Straight Pool League.

Hi Dennis, I was there from 12:30 till ablout 4:30 and turnout was pretty good, I do not know the actual numbers though. It appeared to be mostly local players to me, John did a great job as usual running things. Looking forward to next week looks like the turnout might surprise us all. See you Saturday...

I don't believe there has been any communication with RS by the movers and shakers of this thread. I do not know how many intend to come or what activities they might be planning.

That being said, as I mentioned earlier, there is a daily special for $10 per person from 11 until 6pm, so that should probably be a sufficient deal.

The first post should be updated with a list of confirmed attendees. I am considering, but would like to know who all is going.
 
I plan on coming down Saturday from 40 minutes north of Milwaukee, I will be there around 11ish probably till 8pm or so at the latest:smile:
 
Just wanted to you guys to know my time frame so you can all get some easy wins in while I am there:grin-square:

I have about 30 definite maybes. Im guessing half of those wont show but half will show. Im in of course Ill be there around 11 and stay till the end
