I think the point is... if you read the rules, it doesn't say anything about copy/paste. So if it is a rule, I for one have no idea where it's posted and would love to read more about it.

I believe that the laws around copyright protection generally require that you acknowledge the source of the information so that you're not engaging in outright stealing or plagiarism.
In post #395, dorabelle did identify the source of where she copied her information from: "Taken form OMGWTF blog about TAR 31"

In NPR, it really helps if your personal political opinion is aligned to the personal political opinion of the law.

Cheffjeff, Mr Wilson is a busy guy so ill help him out by explaining it. Ok so there is a blog that OMGWTF wrote that contains foul language, verbal abuse, wanting to physically hit people, and insults toward a fellow AZB member. I copied and pasted those parts of her blog and my post was deleted because it contained the above offensiveness but her blog is still on here for everyone to cheer on. The things you copied and pasted didn't contain verbal abuse and insults to a fellow AZB member. Its not the act of copy and pasting, it was the content that was not allowed.
I was thinking about it this morning and if it was a guy who wrote the blog about a female, wanting to punch her in the face and laughing at her physical features, itd be different. People think its ok for women to be abusive to men. Its a bad double standard.
There is a BIG difference in Wanting to hit someone and Hitting someone.
There's also a difference when it's part of a fairly well known satirical blog
A satirical blog that so grossly violates the rules of this forum that you cant copy and paste from it.
