Well, I can only really practice on a barbox. I actually got my wife to let me put one in the livingroom [gasp!] because it means we can spend more time together, and she is comfortable. Combos are a huge asset from playing on barboxes most of my life, you got that right.

I remember those clay balls where you had to keep bumping the rack to get the balls to open up.

I wonder what kind of run Crane would have if he were playing on today's equipment. 987?
 
Stuart Pettman now holds the World Record Filmed on a 10-foot table, 2 of them actually, with his 100 & 117.

It was actually kind of a challenge in a way, I knew it would be beaten soon so I wanted to claim a real world record (yes grinning lol) for a brief moment in time, and get the buzz and ball rolling so to speak.

You guys who have a problem with it should probably have...oh nevermind.
It was a legitimate world record, unless someone would have produced a higher run that they had in the vault, which would have been cool actually.

It was also kind of a tease because John Schmidt and Danny Harriman both have runs of almost 300 on video on the 9-footers in what is kind of a World Record Race to capture the highest run on video... Schmidt has the lead right now I think with a 294, eclipsing Harriman's 280 I believe. Wow!

I love the 10-foot tables and I figured the video would add a nice buzz to the tables.

Anyway no hard feelings for the sour pusses out there...lighten up guys, what's the saying I learned from Mika... Don't hate...congratulate!

And thanks to Steve for posting and my friends for backing me up!

Ok that's all for now. Maybe I'll be back with a WORLD RECORD Filmed run of consecutive 3 ball racks on a bar box before someone else gets it ;)

he played many years with the plastic balls like used today.
i heard the clay balls never skid. ive had many huge runs end on skids.

actually ive run 366 on video.by far highest on film. for the record your 99 0n 5x10 is awesome and i think u are a monster player.

Congratulations Maxwell, I don't believe we could find a better representative for the sport of pocket billiards than that of yourself. The 2013 DCC Champion and well deserved for sure, take a look at the list of illustrious players he had to defeat in order to take the title. The numb - er crunchers / critics - like a broken record will try and enlighten everyone with their knowledge of history; he is also not a fellow who needs to try and shark his opponent in order to win. Max is a gentleman and a scholar period.

i agree danny max is a great player.
the euros are so good at 14.1 that its tough to win anything at 14.1.
you , and max are great players and are two guys that can win major 14.1 titles.
you and i have had differences ,that happens but i think u r a very talented ,truly great player.
ive always had way more respect for someone who plays great all around and thats u for sure.

Hey John, tonight I was playing a tournament in El Paso and we were talking about straight pool. This dude said "I was in Victorville, CA and there was a guy there who called himself Mr. 300. He claimed that he ran over 300 balls!" Then he went on to tell me that you ducked him when he asked you to play for money. He definitely would have needed about 450 balls going to 500 against you. Hope you are doing good.

Sorry John, flattery will get you know-where, there is a reason that TAR does not want you to play again. Maybe some day you will learn to take your beating like a man and not cry so much - your too good a player to do that and argue about the rules in order to stop play and continue your agenda of namecalling and all. This type of person ends up not staying in action, good call not going to the DCC - it's a bit of a rough crowd and if you act like you did in the TAR format with Corey and I you would run into some serious trouble.

even though u r kinda strange and borderline crazy i want to play u race to 1000 for 10,000.
if i get out of line u can show me how tough u r. u have told me repeatedly how tough u r etc.

At 11:45 that shot is so brutal, thats billiard cushions on that table with pool balls, so being froze up to the rail like that there is almost no CB to hit, even on a b-wick or diamond its a hard shot, but on THAT table "forget about it!!!" as Mike Sigel would say. I played on that box and know how hard it is. Max sure came with a shot there, no body is even $ on that shot on THAT table IMO. Good job Max!!:thumbup: i'd say for Max, Denis, Shane JS, DH and other champions that shot is 40% at best or a hair more but not 50%.

2. Harriman would never take that bet, he would just make excuses and bs you about "as soon as I have time to practice and the rust is off"..which will be never.

3. Harriman has proven himself to be an absolute cancer to himself..the game and the fans of pool. My guess is your one of those people who never made a player or like John never got the attention from mommy and daddy that you feel you deserved. Either way I am sure that you probably are another puppet and no I did not say muppet, so keep being controlled by what you thijnk is politically correct.
