CJ Wiley Runs 29 balls in 1P using TOI

Which would you like to see and learn most about?

LOL... got it THANKS and WOW

I have a couple of questions for anyone interested.

Which would you like to see and learn most about? If you're answer is "none of them", I think that goes without saying, see ya on the pro tour.;)

1) The Banking ghost - Banking all the balls in using a "Tip Technique" that can be used for banks, regardless of the number of rails?

2) The Rotation Ghost - Running all 15 Balls in order by just removing one ball at the beginning of the rack. (14 Ball Ghost)

3) Developing more power, accuracy and control in your stroke by utilizing the forearm/wrist/fingers, so you can hit the cue ball incredibly straight and precise using the cue ball as the target (not the object ball).

4) Live streaming lessons on each of these subjects so they are interactive and questions are answered from the AZBILLIARDS FORUM by me and guest pros. What pros would you most like to learn from?

CJ,

Hey, what's up? You gave us too many chooses. I thought is was about narrowing them down. 1 & 3, Maybe 4, Buddy Hall, but Mike Sigel might be more entertaining or Ewa, Jeanette, Allison, etc.

Best Regards,

I'll make a check mark in favor of #1 and #3...thanks for your input.

Best Regards,

I've talked to Allison and would really like to do some things with her. Jeanette would be awesome, however she stays very busy with the APA. Maybe the APA would like to get involved, who knows?

Buddy and Sigel would be awesome, I hope Buddy's health is getting better he's my all time favorite 9 Ball player and Sigel, what an entertainer and a very intelligent man. I have a really nice cue that I've used in my videos that I got from him and it hits like no other cue I've ever owned. It's just too expensive to take to the pool rooms, I'd probably forget it and it would "vanish" one day.

I'll make a check mark in favor of #1 and #3...thanks for your input.

How did he make 99% using TOI? If he used TOI on all but one shot that would be 97% if you round up. :D:thumbup:

I wouldn´t mind to see all of them but to choose I choose #1&3. The #4 would be real cool to see though, see what we pupils struggle with, comparing, understanding etc. The #2 would be nice to see also of course but I guess if you know 1&3 the #2 is a gimme:).

Discovering a new perspective -Using TOI as a Reference Point on All Shots

Yes, I start out TOI on all my shots, then pivot if I need English. Even on straight in shots I will use TOI, to align to one side of the pocket, then pivot slightly to the center. I don't like to get too technical about this because I've seen many players do this in a variety of ways so I leave it as a "personal preference".

I used to do it without realizing exactly what was happening, I just knew I always cued it Inside and felt like I over cut everything slightly. Since explaining it over and over in writing and doing the TOI Video I have improved the system and do it much more consciously.

Most pros will stay far away from trying to explain consciously what they are doing unconsciously because if they're not careful it will "leave" them. I've had this happen a time or two back when I was making my first 3 videos. You MUST spend hundreds of hours away from the table from a different perspective to be about to describe some of these techniques. 'The Game is the Teacher'

All of them??? As a student of the game, I wouldn't throw any of these gems out!

Since my game is 1P.

#1 and #3 please.

As far as a guest pro goes, Allen Hopkins, Johnny Archer or the stunning Ewa - The Striking Viking.

Thanks again CJ

John

I like #1 and #3 also.

Great video, shows the 'heaviness' of the cue ball when using TOI

CJ - How about #5 ... you running racks while thinking out loud about how to get shape. Your thoughts as you decide where you want the CB to go, along with when/how you use spin, follow, draw, stun, etc. This might work in well with #3, along with how various grip placements on the cuestick affect the shot and cueball action.

I'll 2nd. that.

In the 2nd. run out, I would have shot the 4 toward the end when the cue was a bit out of line, but... that's not what was done. For me to know why would be nice.

In fact CJ, can you tell me(us) why you went with the stripe?

choice????

#1 because of what you said when you tought it to a guy in dallas, " this is like cheating" I think...lol second 3 and then four and I would like to see some others who play with toi, this might speed up my pattern recognition learning curve. I also like #5...lol. thanks again CJ
