Give TAR their due

So sick of reading negative posts and conspiracy theories about The Action Report Matches and preferential treatment/banned players.

Right now TAR is doing more for the players, fans and general promotion of the game/sport we love then any other group, person or sponsor out there. Their Podcasts are informative and well produced, they give access to the players like never seen before and give the fans the opportunity to watch the best players in the world on a regular basis...and giving the players a chance to make some good $ which they wouldn't normally get.

All these anti-TAR posts and conspiracy theories of which players are banned and which are coveted with special treatment is all nonsense. These guys offer the top players the spots based on a business model as old as time..give the customer what they want!

I would rather just say thanks to the TAR guys and hope they continue to stream exciting matches with the best players in the world. Enough of the negative posts about TAR, its counter productive..false..and boring.

I don't see the criticism of TAR on a level you seem to. Granted, there are a ton of negaive nancy's here on most everything. I don't see TAR getting more than what is only to be expected by the inevitables.

I think TAR gets, and has earned a lot of respect in this industry - and in a relatively short period of time. I greatly appreciate their integrity, risk taking, intelligence, commitment, professionalism, investment, passion, don't take no shit attitude, etc.

I hope for their continued success! They rock!

I love TAR and I buy their ppv whenever I'm able. Their podcasts are the nuts, and their stream quality is second to none. As far as the haters go...there are people on here who find something to hate on about everything so I just tune them out.

Good post. I see people sneak in their little potshots about "the shane report" or whatever. Those guys deserve to get called out because it's horseshit. Justin will give anyone a chance provided they A: act respectfully and B: are someone people will pay to watch.

You don't meet either of those requirements, then TAR has other options.
Meet them in spades and you'll get invited back.

TAR is the only pool action I refuse to miss, for money or not.
"Sorry guys, can't come out tonight. TAR match."

I will say thank you to TAR (wish you had not changed the table) but.. I think Diamond with the DCC and now Tunica is doing "at least as much" as TAR :groucho: ... maybe.. more?...

I'm a big TAR fan and have supported them but I would also support whoever would set up the matches with players that TAR doesn't want.

Why haven't any of the other streamers stepped up?

I would assume its a tougher go then most people would think.

I think some people just get tired of seeing Shane in so many of these, he probably has played in half of the TAR matches. I think Busty and Dennis both beat Shane as did Archer but its understandable since he is a draw and easy to get him to show up and play, I would like to see the other guys go at it too like Dennis O and Bustamante.

I know there are matches I would love to see but not all make sense financially, a one pocket match with Frost, Shane, Efren or Alex would be awesome to see but Justin does not think it will sell so he basis it on that which is fine, its a business. The pool of players that are TAR worthy so to speak and that can sell PPVs are pretty small so I guess that is why we see a good deal of the same faces.

I am actually excited to watch Alcano and Shaw because its something new on there even though I did seem play on Accu-stats if I recall.
