subjectivity alert!

there will be a lot of suggestions for you, and quite frankly, in your price range there are a number of great choices. I could suggest some but I'll let you see what the other members have to say.

what I will suggest, however, would be that if it's possible for you to attend an event like the Superbilliards Expo that is coming up in two weeks, you could test hit literally thousands of cues.

What feels great to me may not feel quite as good tou you. Feel is *very* subjective.

Also, there is variability with cues made by the same maker so that makes an even better case foir being able to try some out, if possible, prior to pulling the trigger.

GL with your search.

best,
brian kc

I also have a Frey titlist

Looks nice too.

FYI everyone....

I emailed the OP with an offer on a cue that is a little over $1K and this was his response....

"Well I am on a fixed income I like the cue it looks awesome but like I said I am on a fixed income so maybe I could do payments if possible"

To me, if you're going to start a thread wanting to buy "monster players", you should have some money, no? I mean hey, I'd like a Tasc, Tad, etc too, but I wouldn't be expecting the seller to finance it for me. Seriously?

Hope this was actually a joke. If it is this is a monster cue for the price.

I CAN HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING & TEST-PLAYING VOLLMER CUES. I AM CONFIDENT THAT THEY WILL AMAZE YOU WITH THEIR HIT, FEEL, AND PLAY. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?? I KNOW SOME PEOPLE WHO HAVE VOLLMERS, PEOPLE I HAVE SOLD TO. I STILL HAVE (2) SILVER "V"s CUES, ONE 8-POINTER VALUED AROUND $5600-$6000 IN EBONY & TULIPWOOD RECUTS/WITH THE FANCY BB-LIKE RINGS @ ALL POSITIONS A-E, AND AN ALL EBONY NON-POINTED CUE WITH THE SAME FANCY BB-RINGS AS THE OTHER 8-POINTED CUE(AROUND $ 4500). WHAT PRICE RANGE ARE YOU AT FOR TASCARELLAS? I HAVE FOUR. I HAVE SOLD MY TADS & GINAS, NEVER HAD ANY RICHARD NEIGHBORS CUES. BEST WISHES FOR YOUR HUNT FOR THE CUE FOR YOU, PAUL.

I got this monster

Check out this monster:wink:

My quote was only intended to give you info on Vollmers. I am sure you know & have been told that you will not be able to purchase any Tasc, Gina, Tad, or Vollmers for your stated budget. You might check on Tom Migliore (TNS) & Joe Callaluca cues that are in your price range & play well. Paul.

since you asked for suggestions I will suggest a Mike Lambros. I switched to one last month and am highly impressed. I have owned around 40 different cues and this one is without a doubt the monster they all talk about. The "hit" really is different with a Lambros.

I guess depending on what he wants, and how he breaks down the payments. I would work with him. The details would have to be very clear. And he would have to do what he says. I do this with some cues, even some people. Lets see what he says. I have a deal for him. See you all at the SBE.... Thanks Dom

I am looking for a vollmer cue under 3500US. Do they have any cue at this price? Or you know anyone who wanna sell new/mint conditioned Vollmer?

Thanks.
