Hi,

This Cue was a collaborative effort by two Cue Nerds, myself as the Cue Maker and Chrippa as the Designer. There were a lot of very small details that went into this cue and we had a lot of fun during the process.

Yucatan Rosewood, Curly Maple and Brown Elephant Ear.

Thanks for viewing,

Rick

Thank you to my "Art on Cue" partner Cue Artist Kenny Simonsen for adding the special feature on the bumper less name plate with his liner brush and steady hand.

What a wonderful way to wake up looking at this baby:smile:.
This has surely been a great ride doing this cue with Rick, we have had so much fun, ideas back and forth, txt´s, pics - talking about life in general etc etc.

The cue looks amazing imo, great work!!

Will get here after Eastern so next week I will let it shoot some balls for me - it´s not only look good, - it can pocket balls by itself....

Best to all of you and have a great day!!

That was a nice thing to say Jive, Thanks:).

It´s .8:10 in the morning here and I´m enjoying my wake up rituals as usual browsing around AZ and I can´t help myself but comes back to see the pics over and over again - I love it:)

Wow....now that's a stunning cue
to say the least, love the combo of
woods & detail of design.
Gorgeous cue. :)
Congrats.

That's a really nice looking cue with great colors. I dig the white veneer and ringwork but I'm curious what drove the decision to use goop/filler in the center of the props rather than inlay them?

Todd,

We did them that way because of the orange color accent Chris wanted. They are very tiny so I used orange acrylic and 6400 psi epoxy mixed. Very hard when cured.

Simply gorgeous cue with excellent craftsmanship in every aspect.

Just curious, is the pin a radial, or a 3/8-10 Modified? Looks almost like a Modified Radial.

Chris,

It is a custom 3/8 14 tip modified. Chrome plated brass. I had them specially made a a screw machine shop here in Chicago.

When I run out I am going to Monel as my material specification. That will be over 100 cue down the line.

That would explain why it looked like a melding of the radial and 3/8-10 Modified. Very nice design on the pin. I love it when even the little things (or not so little, as the pic is just a "bit" important) are taken care of.
