Emily Duddy VS Ine Helvik match Amway Cup March 2013

OH BOY! I just watched the first rack and had to turn it off. How do you go to the Amway Cup in China or whereever it is when you can't make balls that are hanging in the pocket? two chances in that rack where you missed complete hangers that most beginners would make. Unreal.

Do u want to match up with Emily in a race to 9 for 3,000- 5,000$? I will stake Emily.

I've seen this video ... and I was watching the match on the back table.

Those two gals, they are probably top 10(or 20) in the world .. I think both made it to final 4 this tournament and one gal won it last year. They can play some .. and look good doing it.

If those two are top 20 players in the world, women's pool is a joke. I hope for everyone's sake, they are not.

No offense to anyone but this thread has gotten off the target that Emily set up..

She was looking for some helpful tips & some constructive critique & maybe some re-enforcement for some better play than the last video which I did not see.

As to what she wore, I only see a real problem, IF... the boots with heels is not how she pratices & usually plays. The rest of her clothing makes no real difference. Personally I'd rather that she dress a bit more business casual, if pool is going to be her profession. But in the end, if she can win wearing evening wear, then it does not really matter.

So... can we please get back to the intent of the thread, constructive commments or useful critique.

Regards to Everyone,

If you (vagabond), want to stake her she can get a lot of games here in Illinois. I'd be one of them.
She played much better in this match than in the matches posted previously. It's good to see she's working on her game. If she stays in action she may get where she wants to go.
I hope she does, we need more great American players.

I think these rankings are meaningless. If you have the money and determination to enter a lot of tournaments you’re bound to cash out for a few hundred bucks once in a while, which will get you a relatively high ranking. Most people probably give up when they realize that traveling to a tournament and paying the entry fee and hotel is an even less viable money-making proposition than beating the house in Vegas.

I watched the video and she looks good and plays pretty sporty.
Why knock someone for working hard at the game? That's just someone trying to be an ass. Keep up the good work Emily.

Congrats on having the balls to post up here about your progress...even though you knew what was coming in the realm of negative posts, you did it anyway. I watched the video twice, you fell into a good groove and you reaffirmed that I need to look at the table/layout more often and work on my rhythm. So in your learning, you helped me..Thanks and good luck.
