Tournament SEARCHES

Aieeeh. Just as I started this thread, I go back and set the parameters for
COUNTRIES: UNITED STATES
TYPE: MEN
ZONE: NORTH AMERICA
MONTHS: JULY

The filter goes on brain cramp. Oh well, maybe I'm doing something wrong.

There are no "MEN" tournaments for July, because they're all open to men & women. Very few are reserved to men only (such as last week's China Open).

Try it without the MEN filter.

And yes, we should show a message saying "your request returned 0 result" or something close.

Thanks for the feedback. This one goes right to the programmers' to-do list

Be nice to filter at least by state, or zip code.

That's the kind of thing we're hoping to do someday... Still working on the new core though.

With the growth of our locations database we should be able to do a lot more in the future.

Thanks:wink:

PDF File for Flyers

I was perusing the Tournament list in June, and clicked on the Ultimate 10-Ball Championship. Their is a lot of good information pertaining to the tournament.

One thing that I noticed was the flyer from the trny, which can be very useful. Would their be a way to turn that into a PDF file?
That way when you click on it, the flyer would enlarge, enabling you to print, more visibile, etc.

Great job on the revamp of the site.

Yes...sort of- hold your 'cntrl' key on your keyboard and use your mouse scroll wheel and the page gets bigger.

Depending on what kind of PDF software you've installed, there is a way to make a PDF out of
anything you could print, including web pages.

Try ctrl+P to print (or however you usually do it) and look
for the dropdown where you can choose a printer. Change it to "Adobe PDF" or "Save to PDF"
if that option's available. You'll be asked where to save the PDF (nothing will actually print).

If you don't have that option, there's free programs out there you can install to make it available.
This one's pretty easy to use: http://www.bullzip.com/products/pdf/info.php

Yeah, it works great without the "MEN" selection. :o

Now for the next question: How do tournament promoters and pool room owners go about listing their tournaments with the AZ Billiards Calendar?

Thanks! You're doing a great service to the billiard world.
