Perhaps the VBulletin programmers are sufficiently neophytic that they still listen to customer feedback. If you communicate with them, I've got a couple of requests for the search:
Omitting common short words in searches is OK. Omitting BCA and IPT is not.
Search should handle clear back to the beginning of the forums with better date range features.
In advanced search, if I specify a username and hit back to go back to the search definition page, it should remember the username. Currently it resets the username but keeps the other info.
 
Minor gripe,

I read the forums most often from my kindle fire tablet.. since the change it wants to Force feed me tapatalk which is fine for a phone.. but my tablet is pretty big and shows full webpages quite well..

Whenever the tapatalk dialog pops up it logs me out it's happened several times now.. could you please add a "don't ask me again" checkbox to that dialog.

I agree. Those three-letter words are sometimes important for search functions.
 
Repeating a comment from earlier in this thread -- the Indent function for portions of a post doesn't seem to be working for me any more.

Is Indent working for everyone else? I'd appreciate it if you would check. I use it frequently.
 
Atlarge, can you toggle back to the tech two skin and see if it is working there?

Yes, it works with Tech Two, if I stay in Tech Two. I did a post with an indent in Tech Two, and it showed up with the indented material. Then I switched to the Azb v4 skin and the indented portion of that same post was no longer indented.

Would appreciate if AtLarge enlightened me on what an Indent function is. Maybe it is worth using and I have never heard of it.

Do you mean the intent function to make a list?

Let me see if it works. I have to go shopping, so I will buy these:


apples
oranges
cherries
blueberries
bananas​


I just tried to indent the above, but it does not work for me.

That is strange. The indent function works when you hit the bullet icon.

It seems the numbered list and bullet list do the same function: indent. The indent buttons don't work at all.

To indent just means to move some text in from the original margin to another "indented" margin. It is often used with lists (for which we have numbered and bulleted types), but it can be used for anything that you want to set off from the other material.

When you are typing a reply in a thread, the indent function is shown at the top in the same line of functions with bolding, underlining, etc.

Is anyone looking into why the Ordered List (numbered list), Unordered List (bulleted list), and Indent functions are not working when writing posts under Azb v4?
 
I like the new set up but I miss the old top right hand section that was clear to see with the white back ground and black print of the latest cueball news.

Alright then , I give in & it's time to go back to the opticians for another set of glasses ! :cool:;):D:thumbup:

Sorry for delay...tech two still results in same same error message:
Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

Google says lots...not that any of it makes any sense to me!:eek::embarrassed2:
