The Worlds Fastest(and most attractive) Table Installation Video by Mary Avina

yes, I've met a lot of characters, both male and female, but Mary's in a league all to herself. Mary Avina has never met a stranger and if I have something to do I can just drop her off ANYWHERE that has a pool table and she'll be happy as can be.

That means a biker bar, redneck pool room, Mexican Bar, Asian Pool Room, etc. I used to do this for money, but she does it strictly for fun. What a gift, and her reward is to see and make other people happy and she's batting 100% from what I've seen.. 'The Game is the Teacher'.com

Well CJ, tell Mary I use to look as good as she does now...30 years ago before I started working on pool tables...so, she may want to get out of this line of work while she still can...with her looks in tact:eek::grin:

They are awesome dogs, I've had 4 of them too through the years.

Tell Mary I love her work on the table... and the Shiba is super CUTE!!!! We have 4 of those stupid dogs!

They are awesome dogs, I've had 4 of them too through the years. This one is Kita, and she is a doll, sometimes it's difficult to tell if she's a real dog or a stuffed one. She has never barked and LOVES to travel, so she's an ideal "road dog".

She also has a strange infatuation with pool and golf.....hmmm

she just does this for fun, she wants to build a castle one day

You want me to tell Mary you used to look as good as her? ahhhh....hmmm, welllll....I think you'll have to handle that one yourself :groucho:

Besides, she just does this for fun, she's practicing to build a castle one day.

CJ--

Super impressed. Did she pull the cloth tight enough? For people who don't usually setup tables, that's usually the one thing that isn't perfect. If so, I'm impressed!!

Cool video. Thanks for posting.

I met Mary a couple times around Southern CA. Awesome girl! Full of personality... and great stories.

Honestly, if she wanted to get that slate upstairs on her own... I wouldn't put it past her for a second.

Only if you want to scare her...LMAO

it was a 'Brunswick Conqueror' and was made between 1928 and 1931.

We had a light fixture fall on that table at my other place (an hour after finishing the TOI video) and it marked up one side. She turned the cloth over and used the same cloth and pulled it tight - if you have the 'Touch of Inside' video it was done on that table with the reversed cloth......AAAAmazing is all I can say.

She's put together 6/12 Snooker tables and they're MUCH more challenging, so this was a "piece of cake". Click "The Cake" to see another Mary Avina video putting together a snooker table, it was a 'Brunswick Conqueror' and was made between 1928 and 1931.

hmm...trying to think of what pool cloth if finished on both sides:confused:

Janis cloth....named after the two-faced Roman god..
Walter Lindrum won a world English Billiard championship on this cloth in the 30s.
It was made of cotton.

I've seen cloth turned over in North America, but it played bad.

play alternate position routes to avoid a bug, a bump or beer mark

"The Three Faces of Eve Cloth" is about to be released and it's really confusing

I'm from the "old school," it wasn't unusual to play for $500 a Game on cloth with beer stains, and a series of niches and grannies to "navigate".

I always thought it made the game more interesting when you had to play alternate position routes to avoid a bug, a bump or a beer. :thumbup2:
