No Bonus Ball live stream???

I imagine we will be betting on bb in the future.

You do realize if we could legally bet on Pool in the US that BB would have never gotten past the "hey I have a crazy idea" conversation over adult beverages... If you could bet on pool and the pros were kept under the thumb of a true sanctioning body we would have both professional players and tour stops.... I may be wrong but I think you can bet on the Jr. Snooker players in England......

I realize that there were very few matches to bet on in the action room and now I'm looking at 4 per week!

Just keep it in the PMs for confirmations.... We all know how the Baltimore Bullet ended... along with the last year of the Johnson City jamboree =)

I missed the big BB debut. I drank cherry juice last night and fell asleep on the sofa.

Who won?

One would think someone would have tested the feed a few hours before showtime. What a joke. Johnnyt

BB to let us know what happened? If no one did that tells me all I want to know about BB. Sorry I wasted $12.95. Johnnyt

it was free

It was and anyone who did buy it I am sure will be refunded and have a whole weekend of free top notch pool. I did not read the thread but have to say it was a great match tonight and the crowd loved it. It was great we got so many viewers and attention but sucked that it crashed the server. Enjoy this weekend and check it out. It don't cost anything so what do you have to lose?

In the metaphor, nobody won.

BB may have recorded an amazing match, and I hope they did, ...

But very few people were able to see it (including myself).

I know there are growing pains, etc, and I don't blame them for that.

I know the BB infrastructure team is working hard to get things ready for tomorrow.

Once again, best of luck to the WPBL / BB team. I'm looking forward to the next broadcast. I'll be there.

Good post! I also believe they will experience growing pains. It was too much to expect it would go off without a hitch.

I remember one year at the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championship, BCN and Accu-Stats were supposed to livestream the TV table matches. Well, as luck would have it, the signal at this Conference Center was not good enough to broadcast.

A huge complaint storm came on this forum about how this sucks, that sucks, damn BCN, damn Accu-Stats, how could this happen. Hey, in the wonderful world of technology, things do happen, some of which are beyond anybody's control.

In my job, I sometimes have to record things LIVE off the Internet and provide a same-day delivery of the job to the client. Well, when we have a power outage, which happens more times than I'd like in my area, there ain't nothing I can do about it. Mother Nature always wins. Usually, clients are understanding when this happens.

There may be a lot of doom-and-gloom posts about BB now because of this hiccup. It is to be expected, I guess, but me, I know how brutal it is to work in a real-time manner.

Here's hoping that BB brushes the dust off and gets back up on that livestream saddle again. :)

At this juncture, there's only one direction, and that's up! Onward BB soldiers, marching off to . . .

You can count on it. In about 12 hours they are going to do it again and for all the weeks after that.

Talked to Nathan on FB and he is confident it's all good now. We will see.
