Well... I went to buy some stuff from Atlas today and they closed my account. They mentioned I said something about them on AZ. I don't know what that was really.

Anyway, after 6 or so grand over the last few years, I guess we are done.

They said Eric or John would give me a call. I don't expect anything from them.

So much for customer service.

BTW. If anyone can tell me what I said...I would appreciate it..

My guess.

If it's raining and I hear lightning, I'd run away from you for sure.

Hmmmm, don't remember anything negative. Do a search on your name and Atlas.

If I said anything worth having my account closed I would remember.

They mentioned AZ SPECIFICALLY....

BTW, only a handful of people here know my last name......so...

They must have forgot two things.

Freedom of Speech

Fair Trades Act where if you offer at a price to sell your wares in the USA you must sell everyone in the USA the same.

On the phone however it is Hearsay, you need it in writing.

How many Randy's in Calif do they know?
I didn't even know they read us.

Considering the ad banner, I would guess they read it.

It was also mentioned I haven't spent any money this year. I am pretty sure I have. I don't have any access to my closed account now.

As far as me living in California, I guess what I said really pissed them off. They would have had to read through several threads here, or found someone I know, in order to figure that out.

Anyway, I'm looking for nickel silver rings, a bullet uniloc, and some black Juma. If anyone knows where I can get some, PM me please.

I don't think that is correct, but thank you anyway. Maybe I am an ahole and not worth whatever hassle I cause.

I know of certain people I won't be forced to do business with either.

I just didn't think I was one of those.....

Before I get banned myself, they do have the right to refuse service to anyone.
At least Atlas won't be stalking your posts.

I'd call them again and maybe patch things out .

And I sure hope I'm not a suspect to what happened.

Yes they certainly have a right....

I was pretty upset when they wouldn't let me order, so I doubt I helped my case.

Actually, I don't think they do. I'm not a lawyer, and Tom Hay would know
better than I. A fellow I knew many moons ago had a similar experience
with a supplier - they told him via phone they would never sell to him
again. According to him, he called his lawyer and in less than an hour he
received a call saying they would be more than happy to sell him anything
he wanted.

I'm sure someone else would be glad to take my 2 grand a year.

No more Poodles for you Randal.

Sounds kinda funny to me Randy. I might call and talk to someone else and see if there hasn't been a mistake or serious misunderstanding.

Worth a try.

I'm sure someone else would be glad to take my 2 grand a year. I know about 50 people with accounts at Atlas. Maybe they can afford to lose them too....

Do you really think your 50 friends are going to quit ordering from Atlas because they won't sell to you? I don't have any dog in the hunt but every time I have ordered from Atlas they have been great. I had a shipping problem once and they went way beyond what they needed to do to make sure it was taken care of.

It is either a misunderstanding or you said something that they really took offense too. By some comments you made in this thread, it doesn't sound like you helped your cause much when talking to them on the phone but my suggestion would have been to call and talk it over with them.

It wasn't meant to be literal. I could almost as easily order through my friends. I have already found cheaper places for much of what I have been buying from Atlas anyway.

OH....and I DID call them.

Yep....we both might be mistaken.

Here is where words get out of context. Randy said nothing about asking anyone not to buy. His statement was a comparrison to how much he spent a year and if they cut out 50 more people he knew could they afford it.

To me it is not a matter of that. Sellers seem to forget how much work and or money they spent to get a good customer. If the customer seems to have a problem, you talk to them about it, not can them, come to a mutual understanding (or at least try)
