Over here in the TAR studio, I like Shane's game right now. In Taiwan he would probably be in trouble playing under their conditions. So let's call it a draw. That's one reason why it's so tough for the American/foreign players to do well in China. The conditions favor the Chinese and Taiwanese players and not the rest of the top players. Filipinos are the exception. They adapt better than anyone else to different table conditions. They would play on the floor if the money was right!

All that said, I'd love to see Ko Pin Yi lock it up with Shane in Vegas. Among the ten or fifteen top Taiwan players he is the Alpha dog right now. His break might be just as good as Shane's as well. I still like Shane on the TAR table. He really caught his high gear against Dennis.

I would definitely pay to see Ko Pin Yi play Shane in an extended TAR match.

I wouldn't be so sure. Oscar couldn't make a game with a known pro on the pro's table for 500 dollars. the pro wanted a little weight and would not budge. a guy like Bobby c would have a line a mile long to play him but shanes line would be much much shorter.

Don't know what your game looks like these days Bobby, and don't know if these 2 challenges have any weight involved. Do they? JB surely can't playing even vs Chris B, so I'd suspect there'd have to be some weight involved on one or both with you playing them.

No nerve from me hit at all I promise>Usually when someone challenges someone there is no weight involved however I have never seen john B-rton play ever but since some people on azb have sayed I have an advantage I offered him a 20% spot on the the games played and as for the game against Chris B everyone has stated Im a huge underdog and I agree im an underdog for sure and not asking for any weight against Chris B. B-rton said he would put the money up on that game so it will be a best 2 out of 3 race to 500 straight pool.As for how Im playing I would say not very good.As most of you know my health has been declining so I have good days and bad days but Im still fighting a tough fight and surely will never give up and also not make any excuses if I lose 20k on each match.

Just think of how people would be talking about Dennis had this match gone his way to the extent it went SVB's..people would be chirping "told you he was the best"...race to 100 shows who is the best player AT THIS TIME, as there is plenty of time/games to come back and show heart which Dennis did no doubt on the last day..but he faced a monster in Shane and nobody in the world could have beaten SVB this past weekend period...if that doesn't mean he's the best right now..I don't know what does. That was basically perfect 10 Ball by SVB.

And on top of that if you listened to the commentary, SVB wanted to bet higher then the 5K they had on the side and Dennis declined. Shane knew he could outplay anybody at this point in time in a long 10 ball race..Shuff said during the match.."I sure dont want a piece of him"

Haha.Thanks for the offer.I designated the post money to be held by Nick Varner as he is very well respected in the billiard Industry and very wll trusted.B-rton said no way because it was a conflict of interest.Fatboy offered but I really dont know him.
I designated Mark griffin as He is without any doubt the most important person there is anywherein the world concerning pool and is very well liked and trusted by everyone.
Also Mark griffin has played in many,many professional tournaments and is a professional player and has been around in the pool world for at least 40 years.That beng said here are the advantages to mark holding the post money.

Mark is trusted by everyone.
Mark can make all the rules so no one is cheated.
Mark can designate a neutral referee
Mark can supply a table and place to play the matches

Absolutley mark is the best choice of anyone in the world.

Well I don't know. Shane ran a 7 pack on the tight TAR table and no one else has been anywhere close to that.

Let's just all congratulate Shane on a freaking dominating performance. I mean honestly the South Dakota Kid put a clinic on Dennis that Dennis isn't likely to forget soon.

You can talk about equipment all day but Dennis has been around the block and played under every condition from perfect to horrible for money. It can't get better than a dedicated studio with people catering to your every need and a perfect table to play on. Both guys played on the same table and one of them dominated it.

Let Dennis go work on the break and figure it out to the level Shane has and then see what happens. He actually beat Shane on day three in games.

Was a great match really, one of the best of the TAR matches IMO.
