Bonus Ball Players Can get Staked at The Southern Classic

BB players who withdraw for whatever reason, are banned for life, yet BB player who haven't yet signed up are now being offered to be staked?

Sounds like rather contrasting extremes.

Can Greg maybe call the North and South player reps (Archer/Hohmann) and clarify? If the situation has now changed, it would be best that the players know this, especially given that hardly any of them read Az.

That's what you're for, you and Meximan, the spokesman for BB. I'm sure you can relay the message.

Greg doesn't have to call anybody. What's sick about thsi whole fiasco is he really cares about Bonus Ball and wants it to succeed. You and your Bonus Ball minions, on the other hand, are going out of your way to create a failure for Greg's event. Nice deal!:angry::angry:

At least Deno Andrews, Kevin Trudeau's right-hand man, had class and integrity. When the IPT folded, Deno is still heralded as a valuable member in the pool world. You, on the other hand, will be branded with a BB on your rear end for all to see.

Shouldn't you tell em ? You are the bonus ball spokesperson.

Damn. I was going to be a bonus ball investor if you kept on posting against it.

I think we all have better things in our life than pool. Especially if we aren't 60.

Yep, I'm old and decrepit, a senior citizen sitting in my rocking chair. My life isn't worth anything to people like you. I get it.

The thing is, though, my money spends a little more easily than some youth on this forum. I do pay it forward.

Do you play pool?

Do you play pool?

I could probably kick your butt on a pool table, no problem. I definitely know pool, ALL GAMES, better than your female-discrminating self. Nice avatar. I guess you need to look at stuff like that, masturbate your eyeballs to enhance your digits.

This is a nice gesture but the entry fees aren't the biggest problem for these players. They are 36 of the top players around and one would almost expect each of them to at least break even on the tournament paybacks.

That doesn't mean they will break even on the week(especially if they are losing a cut of their winnings). Just the plane tickets and share of a hotel room are probably $1100 to $1800. That doesn't count food or walking through the casino without doing something.

If Greg had staked me at last years Southern Classic he would have broken even and I would have been stuck around $1300.

This tournament was something fun to play in but I wouldn't call it a great way for 90% of the players to make money. Diamond still makes the best table though.

Lol. I would bet 100-1 odds against you in any pool game but I wouldn't bother. Remember, I'm the guy that called you out for your BS bet you made at Scrabble with some guy and then soon after Keith's bet fell apart against that guy that posted that he plays ALL games. I think it is still his avatar pic.

Dictators preach the same philosophy as Bonus Ball. My blessings wish is only for you and nobody else.

If it was a dictatorship then the players would be locked down and unable to play in anything but Bonus Ball but they can play in anything they chose. For once the players have a choice instead of being pawns playing the only game in town.

Players that are already there for the ultimate 10 ball do not have the plane ticket to buy. And food is an everyday expense, no matter if your on the road or not.
They do however have an extra expense of 10 days hotel at say $100 a night, most likely split, so $500 for 10 days and you're getting put in 3/5 tournaments.

Yeah, Smart Guy. One side wanted to play only certain games at a venue in Tennessee, if memory serves me right, at a venue of their choice. Of course, you don't know the "why" it didn't happen. You're the one on this forum trying to create anger and hurt at the expense of others. If it makes you feel good to call me old and say Keith is a crawfish, more power to you.

One thing about it, when we go to our next pool tournament, Keith will be in the center ring surrounded by a crowd of happy pool people and fun action players, and you? You will be sitting in a corner with the other wannbes, nits, and nobodies wishing you could hear what's happening.

As far as Scrabble, there's no contest. You lose, this time and every time. Have a nice day! :)

I gotta run to the grocery store. We're getting hit with a tornado later today. I'm sure you wish me well.

You are right Brent but food at home is $5-$10 a day depending on what you eat and if you are on the road it can be $50+ a day and over the course of a week it can really add up. I still think the offer is a generous one and applaud Greg for trying to help out the players. Imagine one day players just have to pay just travel and food and get a free room and entries to an event.

I don't think the PLAYERS have a lot of choice. The CAPTAINS have a choice, that's about it, they make the calls.

I love you saying they got a real job paycheck coming in finally though, that's as laughable as it gets. I'd say 25% of McDonalds workers are better off weekly then these guys.

And clearing about $600 average, anyone of them should be able to do that in POOL no matter where they live. He'll I can do that on the side having a 40/50 hr a week job still, and I cant beat 95% of the bonus ball players. They are simply lazy, lazy, lazy.

You can eat on the road just the same as home. The pinoys do it.

You really are getting up there in age if you think my post even hinted that I wanted to bet you at scrabble. You said you could probably kick my butt on the pool table and I am offering you 100-1 odds in any pool game. The last time you barked you had to back down and here it is happening again. I'll bet my $50,000 to your $500 in any pool game. I don't sit in corners. I live life to it's fullest and play pool every day.

As a fan of pool its nice to have options... Efren and the boys at Tunica and BB players in Vegas.

I think BB has done lots to give players an option, more than most business folks woulda in the same situation.

The more competition the better for the consumer! If you're in the business and can't take it then move on. Greg and Jay are doing what any good business men would and not just rolling over and giving up. I think thats great.

I'll be watching both :)

More misinformation Brent! The players can play whatever they like period. The players to make the most of income should live where the weekly paycheck is just like any other job. It is no different for me, I moved to Vegas for work, if I chose to pay money for hotels and airfare once a week it would eat into my pay so I made a smart choice. It is not up to Bonus Ball to tell the players where to live and manage their money. I think $1000 roughly for working for a few hours is pretty good money actually sure beats McDonald's.
