Wow.. after reflecting for a week or so about the two NEW games & leagues that Joe Tucker & Mark Griffin are hawking, those two have redesigned the way to play some Pool.
American Rotation is designed to be a new way to play an old game, 15 Ball Rotation. But it has flavoring from Straight Pool in that the new game count is carried over several games, until the winning number is reached. Very Clever.
Getting this new game into lots of Pool Rooms to begin new leagues, should be a big help to those Pool Rooms, that support this new direction, which Joe & Mark have defined.
Behind that, TEXAS BUMPS comes along & provides a great new game, that will entice new players & inexperienced players to play. They can learn to hit the cue ball straight & learn Speed Control while they are at it. They will most likely make the transformation to regular Pool, when they have reached a higher skill level.
However, this game does allow them to compete with higher skill level players, on a level playing field & in big cash out Tournaments. Joe Tucker & Stewart Gardner brought Texas Bumps to life & Mark Griffin is going to host a National Tournament at the Rio during the BCAPL National Tournament.
Below is the payout for the first national tournament at the Rio, in Lost Wages, NV
These guys are great for having done this, the Pool World might well be better off.
