Nope not Jim Carey.
Should be pretty obvious.
by the time Vegas woke up Monday to mail them next door, we had already E-Check'd them from Atlanta - thanks to Scott's jpgs.
(PhotoShop's an amazing program!)
Were they cash-able? Did any clear?
Probably rhetorical questions.....hell of a good try just the same.
I wouldn't want to be the party responsible for presenting those checks as proof of "good faith".

Looks like only Corey's had enough info to process, no?we cashed them on THEIR account. we're not STUPID!
(along with several of their "öther checks" @ very large amounts.)
please tell the players/employees, that that Wells Fargo acct is now closed - i have no idea, why....

Evidently not at all. But I have been accused of being a little slow at times, so please walk me through this patiently...
You were able to copy the check photos and e-cash them against the account they were written against thereby securing payment for the players named on them....if I have this right that would be nothing short of amazing, especially if you had the permission of all of the parties to whom the checks were made out to avoiding any legal barriers.
If I have this entirely incorrect I apologize, and please correct me. Thanks.

She has to be kidding-otherwise she had admitted to at least a couple of felonies.
That's where I was cautiously and indirectly pointing.
Of course they could have been e-endorsed by the players involved and cashed with their permission...but I'm just guessing until she explains a little more.

wow - sorry, Jimmy & NoStroke! where's that "sarcasm icon" requested earlier today? i thought the Adobe PhotoShop-thing would give me away....
ray -
there has been no communication since last week when the players were told that bb has the checks and they will be mailed monday once the investor gives the go ahead.
At least the players i know personally, this is what they have been told.
And can you guess who within bb the communication is coming from?

And that's exactly what happened to me about 10 years ago.All you need is the account number and the routing numbers and with that you can do ACL charges against the account. ACL is an automatic way to deposit into and withdraw from bank accounts. If you ever sign up for any kind of recurring billing where they ask you for the account and routing number that is acl.
So yes there is enough info shown to charge the accounts. It would be illegal to do it without permission but it is doable. As well some banks do allow deposits based on an image of the check now.
The third way is you can simply print your own checks. With the information from a check you can print your own that work perfectly at any bank. Date line did a story on this where banks took checks that were totally bogus but had a real account number and a real routing number.
So never ever ever put a picture of your checks out on the net. For these reasons I don't use checks and haven't for eight years. If I need to send a physical check then I use my bank's online bill pay to do that.
