Bonus Ball and Chiborak are hiding again? Where is Nathan with all his posts of how great thou art? I doubt anyone could have imagined the train wreck he engineered! Two weeks in and they run out of cash? This is worse than anyone could have seen!

Fatboy said big money was going to be thrown at the WPBL but I was told they sank over a million and owe many hundreds of thousands more in debits! Wow! Anybody heard anything? Why does Nathan keep the website ticking? Can't they do anything right?

All I know is that I ordered a Chicago Rockets tshirt from their site yesterday and I can't wait to get it!!!!!!

Interesting that SVB was once associated with the venture and then chose to not participate.

Chiborak believes it is that TV exposure which will ultimately drive the grassroots of billiards to buy his unique equipment -- scoreboards, software, a special set of balls, even special lighted pocket liners.
 
I just want to say that the posting of the picture of the checks that were not handed out was the lowest low- easily beating out all previous pool scoundrels for sheer gall and overall skunkiness.

So an anonymous coward is calling someone who is anonymous, a coward. Makes perfect sense. Well played!

Everything gets criticized. When you put yourself out there, some people will like it, some people wont. That's how the world works.

They haven't been posting on az because there is nothing good to say. They have done nothing but lie. When you cry wolf, eventually nobody will believe you. The final straw was posting pictures of promised checks THAT NEVER GOT MAILED.

That's why Nathan and some others should be seen and not heard.
He runs a camera, stay behind the lens and do what you know how to.
Some players want to run/promote events, it rarely works, just do what you know how and play pool.
Then if something fails you don't look like the clown out of place trying to run something that you have no idea about.

This turned out to be perhaps the biggest flub up men's pro pool has ever seen. Got pros everywhere heading/posting they are looking for real work. Bonus Ball=Nail In The Coffin

As the OP states, there hasn't been anything (news or press releases) about/from Bonus Ball in a while. So why bring it up again just to insult them?

And yes, I'm aware of the double-standard of calling out people for being anonymous without disclosing my own full identity. Then again, I don't start dead-horse-beating threads just to insult people (regardless of how much they may deserve it) either.

Absolutely. They deserve asll the shit they get for the lies and the anguist they have inposed on our friends and the game.

If I had a couple more brain cells, I'd start another thread right now.

Actually, some people like the game and want to know what's going on. Some people have friends who play the game and want to know if they're going to get paid. There are several reasons why someone could start a thread. But I think it's a good point to question, where are they? They talked and talked and talked and talked... then nothing. Just gone like a thief in the night.

Absolutely they deserve it. Though i did mention Nathan earlier-Neither he nor Lenny are the scoundrels here-they were just poor mouthpieces. The scoundrels and the dumbest so called business people on earth are the 'founders/operators' and I would never believe they ever ran a successful business larger than a lemonade stand prior.

I agree with that 100%.

I guess it's just me but I read the original post as more condescending, and shit-stirring than maybe it was meant. (I think it was the last, "can't they do anything right" that made me think that.)

Their ignorance was only exceeded by their arrogance. It's really hard to root for someone who continually insults you by telling you how "unimportant" and insignificant you are. :mad:
