Hightower Service!

I just wanted to say Chris Hightower came through for me yet again. I was setting up to cut several shaft blanks and coring dowels. My dad comes by and says "what's this for?' and hits the switch on the power feed !! Well it runs into the tail stock and strips out the pinion gear bad.

Well after I calmed down I looked for another pinion gear, fresh out. Called Chris and ordered two more and the next day, here they are ! Back in business and as always the best service !! If you are considering a lathe, inlay machine or whatever Chris Hightower without a doubt has the best service and support out there.

I have run mine into the tail stock and t just slips the belt on the feed motor.

depends on the model you have, or the age of it. My feed motor is the one that attaches to the carraige itself, no belt involved. Gotta be more carefull with this style, don't blink...

I've heard that Chris goes out of his way to help anyone that buys his equipment, and he really knows his products.
It's not easy to maintain that level of support, but he has withstood the test of time.
Considering all of the Cue Smith stuff out there, you rarely see any for sale, and that says something as well.

and now for the important question,
is your dad grounded?
is he allowed back in the shop?

As far as I'm concerned Chris is the best. He's always been a huge help to me. When I started making cues I had no machining experience at all. Chris always took the time to answer any questions I had. I never really thanked Chris for all his help so here it is now. Thank you Chris you were a big part of me getting to where I am today. LOL Brent, well I have but asked he not touch anything without knowing what it is first. And to concur with another statement, my motor attaches to the carriage and there is nothing to slip, just the teeth of the pinion gear lol.

Yep, He's got the best service out there...!!!

Chris is the best...always willing to spend a few extra minutes to help explain and teach you about your questions...and his equipment...

And, quick shipping and good packaging...always here within a couple days...!!!

cue stuff and equipment

Chris Hightower.
Is about as solid as they come, he cares about his customers and his service.

I have not met Chris in person but I do consider him trust worthy.........................................
and he treats most people as a friend not a customer.

I have been out of town since Friday making a leather hunt run so this is the first time I got to respond to this. I appreciate all the positive comments on here. If any of you purchased anything from me and have never left any positive feedback on my Itrader rating. Feel free to go ahead and do so and I will give positive feedback in return.
Again, thanks for the positive comments and the continued business.

Everything I have purchased has been right on and right quick. Great service!

Where is this itrader rating?
By the way Chris is one in a million! Chris is the only reason I wanted to build cues.
