I am on a plane coming from CA to Chicago right now.

Will check out Chris's tonight, practice a little at Red Shoes tomorrow and tee it up with the Ghost in a race to ten Saturday at 3pm.

We are betting enough to cover the trip and then some. If I sneak by the Ghost (Bruce), Bill Stroud is next in Phoenix. If I lose, it is back to CA and start saving up S/S checks again.

I did bring enough extra $$ to try a few pizza and Italian beef joints.

John you and the Ghost are a great assets to the game.
Its hard when 2 men you admire go into battle.
Its hard to choose a winner.
But we are all winners because of you both.

I believe I speak for John as well as myself when I say that we both respect each other and our respective One Pocket skills, and we will both greatly enjoy this match win or lose (although the winner will undoubtedly enjoy it a little more :wink:).

PS, And I think our match might-could-be a little historical - gambling wise..since I can't recall another time that two 'seniors' (over 65) were playing for a mid-4 figure amount :eek: as John and I are.

PPS, I guess it's a pretty good gamble, since our old friend Billy Incardona is flying in for it.

Hmmm... I've been Italian all my life and if I take my mind out of the gutter, I have no idea what an Italian beef joint is. :scratchhead:
