Are all the "JOHNNY ARCHER says...." threads gone?

Given the extreme absence of any actual information contained within them, have we actually lost anything?

I looked at my post history and clicked on the posts in those thread and they seem to still exist and not be closed. Maybe they just dropped off page 1?

Thank god the fatboy "what md really did in vegas" thread appears to still be there too, I would have been devastated if we lost that fine piece of literature.

That's because you're looking at a virtual page. Press the Refresh button on the page and you may find that the thread has been deleted. The "Johnny Archer's Sudden AZ Presence" thread, for example, has been deleted.

That was a pretty good thread, unless it turned nasty later it was totally civil.

Some of my best work gone. :D

What ^^^ he ^^^ said. This is worse than burning books.

Just to recap what I said in that thread: "Johnny Archer lost his password for 8 years and then found it under some old twinkie wrapper and proceeded to log into AZ..."

Nope, it's gone. I got two greenies out of it and my rep thread list shows it N/A. Fahrenheit 451, all over again. :)

I'm just rising and shining, getting ready to begin my workday. I was preparing to create a thread about my 25,000 posts on AzBilliards, and then I noticed my count number went down to 24,968.

Something must have happened on the thread, I am guessing, after I signed off for the day. The general tone of the thread had a few bumps in the road, but at the time I signed off, the thread seemed fairly civil to me.

The green reps I got say "N/A" under the title of the now-deleted thread, but I still have the green reps. :p

My posts, though, especially the colloquy exchange with Lou and JoeW about the etiquette of interviews with journalists and high-profile interviewees are gone. :o

I had a major announcement for my 25,000th post, but I'll have to keep it under wraps for now.

ETA: No, I'm not pregnant.

Perhaps one good thing about that thread being deleted is that the incredibly bad advice that Johnny Archer should not post on AZB has been deleted.

Since Johnny is the President of the ABP, he has a responsibility to the professional pool players to provide accountability, openness and transparency about the events that may affect their lives. So when Johnny posted that he would answer any questions that posters on AZB have, it was a golden opportunity for Johnny to answer questions about the ABP, Bonus Ball, and whatever else people had on their minds.

While some questions for Johnny might have been more difficult to respond to, Johnny should have been able to handle it. Since Johnny hasn't answered any questions at all, it makes him look like a weak and ineffective president of the ABP.
