I agree. She's playing Karl Boyle next. I know Karl is a nice guy, but I'd like to see her barbecue him. :grin-square:

Raj Hundal did that? :angry: I'm ashamed for him. That is terrible.
If you would have watched it, you would have been sick. I'm not saying he should have taken it easy on her, but he wouldn't have done that against someone who could run out. Players should ENCOURAGE lower level players to enter in tournaments! More money in = more money out.
I agree. I hope somebody spoke to him about that. Was that on the TV table? If so, that is tragic.
Some pros right now at the Open should find that girl and spend some time with her to erase this bad memory of Raj Hundal. It would be nice if a British player did it, but somebody else, like Johnny or Earl, that would be ideal.
If any pro reads this thread, PLEASE find that lady shooter and spend some time with her. I am going to make a few phone calls and see if I can locate someone there on site.
The referee should have stopped it. The audience should have booed Raj Hundal for this behavior. Very unprofessional and unsportsmanlike.
Thanks, I've been trying to remember to get pics with them! About Raj, I really don't think it was his intent to embarrass Kassandra; he's really not that kind of person but I do see how most people would take it that way.
He's probably just having some fun, which is often enough to get the internet police to pull out their lynch ropes.

I don't see disrespect.
I saw the entire match. First of all I think there was something funny going on with score keeping. At one time Raj was on the hill (10), he made the 9 and the score was still 10 for him, and he started racking again. I was confused cuz the race was to 11, correct ? So, I don't know what was going on there.
I remember him missing the 9 ball on the corner pocket (btw he didn't "act" like he dogged it, IMO he seriously missed the shot cuz he didn't even look at it before shooting). It seemed to me by that point he had already won 11 games. What you call "showing off" I call it "letting the stroke out". He was trying "different" things when he could see the finish line. I am sure he didn't mean any "disrespect" for his opponent.
It also depends on how you take it, if that happened to me I will not take it as a shameful experience but rather as a hard learned lesson. IMO that match right there was probably one of the best things that can happen to her. She probably will never forget it and will work harder on her game. If I was playing Raj and he did the same thing to me, I will be like "wow, I used to think I was good enough but this guy right here just beat me without even trying.". Sometimes people need a reality check and I think this is the best/worse (depending on what you think) case of it.

Finally, If Raj's opponent was not a woman then how how many people here would have complained about him being disrespectful ?
